No to fttf, we have sail from sj and it is like a port day instead of embarkation day. There is never a long line and you can come and go off/on the ship as you please after initial check in.

St. Thomas cokie (sp) beach. Super clear water and bring dog treats the Sargent majors love them. You can stand in waist deep water and feed the fish or snorkel out deeper and see lots of different things. Powdery white sand and just beautiful

Ok Ms. Kim, I have officially put you in charge of shore excursions on our vista cruise!!! How about tandem parasailing, hubby too chicken to try lol. Also when it gets closer we can link our rooms for dinner so if you want you can eat with us we usually eat later and sometimes we have so much fun talking with others at our table the wait staff is like " could y'all leave" lol we are heading out on elation dec 12 th, then we have 11 day journey April 2 ( we both will turn 45 on this one ) and then the vista. Loving your review as always and look for you every time I fly thru Atl. Especially since my sister lives in Germany now and that's the big d hub for direct flights. Don't feel bad, i don't drink tea either ( must be a Memphis thang).

Brianna, I have been thinking about you. Email me Kevin and Janet at hot mail.

Some captains turn on the side lights and on our last cruise last year from Nola when we hit the gulf the water turns from muddy brown to dark black/blue. I have a picture stored on my home computer and will try to post it so you can see what I am talking about.

Never sailed on ncl before but have been on ccl 12 times and we always book early saver and usually get price drops until 2 days before sailing. How does ncl handle price drops after final payment? Any information will b helpful. Thanks

Brianna, I am so sorry for your loss. You and your mom are in my prayers. You and your dad have so many great memories together that you will be able to look back on forever. I know it will be hard to cruise without him now,but he will always be with you where ever you go. You have my email if you need to talk. I love you girl!

Following along...great review and photos. Thanks for taking your time to do a review for all us cruise junkies [emoji14]

It was for 6 ppl, but they are negotiable. We had the driver for 5 hrs. When you get off the boat just walk to the round open area where the grocery store is, it's inside the port area to the right. We just asked for a taxi to take us around the city and to the beach and see the planes and they tell you which ones to go see. It was 35.00 pp and we negotiated down to 20.00. Some of the places we saw were absolutely breathtaking. You won't have any trouble finding them when you get off the boat. There are plenty there.

We hired a cab driver when we got off the boat in St. Martin and told him we wanted a tour around the island and to see the planes at maho beach and it was 20.00 per person. We went to bikini beach by orient beach, then rode on both sides of the island and saw landmarks, went to the center shopping center then to maho, he made sure we were there to see the big planes land as they all know the flight schedule. We never buy stuff on the boat, take our own pics, carry on snacks and drinks, eat buffet breakfast, lunch. Main dining for brunch and dinner. See the shows and comedians, play trivia as a group. Donate 10.00 to groove for st Jude and get a carnival groove t shirt. There is plenty to do that is free just get creative. Sorry about your job, but when one door closes another one opens. Have a great cruise and make family memories that will last a life time.

Thought of this myself but not real crafty.[emoji12] hope you can figure this out and share it with us. I have a lot of ship theme ideas saved on Pinterest, you may check that out and see if there is anything there you can use as an idea. Good luck and post pics as you go....
