  1. Even if you feel like your morning sickness has passed, get a prescription for some diclectin (this could be called something different in the US) and fill it before you go. It was great for me when I was pregnant on a cruise, especially at dinner time.

  2. We booked in cad using a travel agent. They should be able to match whatever promotion carnival is offering.

I also called carnival to get the U.S. Equivalent of my price per person so I can search online for any price drops - so far it's only gone up :(

Carnival does quote in cad but at a higher rate than the current exchange. I'm surprised they won't let you do the early saver if you use a pvp.

  3. We have the Chef's Table reserved for April on the Magic. So excited to try this, as this cruise will be very special for my fiancée and I. Honeymoon cruise, aft balcony cabin and now the Chef's Table. We are very budget conscious so we decided to splurge on this sailing because it's our honeymoon. And thankfully since our initial cruise got cancelled due to the repositioning of the Magic, we each got $50 OBC, so Chef's Table will cost $50 out of pocket which I consider to be an incredible deal! Also thinking of trying the steakhouse, maybe a couple more splurges. And this is my fiancée's second cruise, first was on Elation but now she gets to sail on my favorite ship, the Magic. Plus she gets to experience a balcony, which I'm sure she will love. Anyway, menu and pics would be great!!

You already booked for April? I'm on the magic in April too and this is definitely want to do this. Guess I need to schedule this!

  4. The best value vacation for kids at this age is an all inclusive. You can definitely find hotels where your child is completely free and have baby clubs with toys etc.

You can certainly have a good time with kids this age if you're comfortable with them being with you most of the time and realizing they probably won't make it through dinner at the Mdr. The third and fourth passenger rate was $179 plus taxes etc. for our kids

  5. We booked through a TA as well. Just log into your Carnival account on the website, then go to manage your booking. Select print cruise documents ( you don't really need to print) and you can scroll down and see what the price you paid was in US dollars. That way you can check for price drops using fare viewer.

I tried this but the price there is Canadian (strange).

I called and they told me the US equivalent I can use to compare. They also said I can fill out the form online myself if I want to do a price protection claim but they will not be able to help me on the phone.
