  1. Do the refrigerators on the Getaway get cold like a “normal” refrigerator or just cool? I have medication that needs to stay cold. I already sent an email to the NCL asking about the refrigerators temperature and if they can supply a medical refrigerator but they just replied “All staterooms have a refrigerator except studios that can be used for medication.” My last cruise was on RCCL’s Oasis and the stateroom “refrigerator” only stayed cool at best, however RCCL provided a medical frig that worked out perfectly.

  2. We are huge Disney World fans, as we go every year for a week, but believe the Disney Cruise ships are too childish to handle for more than a 3 day cruise. Disney Cruise Lines primary target audiences are families with children so if it’s just 2 adults its feels at times odd. Note: after 10 PM the Disney Ships are like a ghost town as nothing is going on. Disney does not have “my time dining” so you will sit with others at dinner. DCL’s breakfast and lunch selections are so much better than RCCL. However we found the quality of dinner in the main dining room “s” to be about the same for both DCL and RCCL. DCL has good desserts, RCCL's are usually below average. DCL and RCCL specialty restaurants are both great and in my opinion worth the extra cost, at least 1 once during the cruise.

I would recommend the Oasis of the Seas for a honeymoon. The Oasis has excellent entertainment, shows, and activities for all ages.
