Meant to tell you, I sent an email to my "exec" host who confirmed I didn't make the diamond list for next year.  So, since I know so early in the year?

I don't feel the need to play hard on upcoming trips.  Their loss. 🤣

Guessing my "exec" host will disappear too. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♀️

Congrats to those who DID make the cut.

Just got on enchanted P as a regular cruise. An envelope in the cabin said we are part of the Hearts group on this cruise!!!! Very surprised. My hubs said they do that on Carnival also, when an echo(highest casino level there)sails, he automatically is part of any group that week.(we are not echo on carnival, but are now diamond here on princess)

    Nothing in mail yet.

I was invited last year but didn't wanna go to Florida for it.

Being West coast, I said, "if you decide to hold your gala & cruise from THIS side,

    I will attend."

(Its long flights to/from Ft. Laud., and that's where I don't want extra flights to.)

I mean they have offices in Santa Clarita, Ca., why not have a Gala over here this time?

Yep, we live in S FL, & like that we can drive to the ships. But we do go on a ship from L.A., about once a year, as my son moved from NY to LA  5 yrs ago. This way, we can visit them & the grandkids. We went on the Discovery in Dec. to Hawaii, & our next will be Alaska from LA  Aug '25.

Going, we can get a nonstop flight am, from FT Laud. But returning after the cruise, we cant have a flight till after 12noon. One time our flight was delayed at LAX, & we missed the connection- when we finally got to Charlotte. Had to stay overnite in airport there. No hotels as it was a big basketball weekend there. At least American gave us miles for 2 free tickets for our trouble.

Thanks for headsup....so you were already emailed invite for Gala dinner next year?

I haven't heard anything, but got a 4th of July email from exec host yesterday.

So guessing that means Not Diamond for next year.  ok.

    If thats the case?

There isn't really incentive to play much on upcoming cruises.

    Good to know.

Just got the invite in the regular mail,2 days ago, so maybe you'll get one a bit later to the west coast.Did you go last year? its the cruise & hotel stay, or hotel stay then cruise. we couldnt go last year as well.

Hopefully you and other Diamond level, received their email notification month before?

We did and was prompt.  Early May email for our early June cruise.

I haven't booked the transport yet.... that came as a text to setup with that company.

But the second question they asked was what Perk we might like?

I went outside the box and asked for Salon, and type of hair appt asking for?

It was Approved and listed in return email.

    So far so good.

Hoping our Diamond continues after Feb.

Someone told me that if you got the Feb'25 gala invite, you are now diamond Feb15'25 thru Mar1'26. (The gala dinner is Feb 22, during the new year)

We cant go, as we booked that Lunar cruise on the Sun, which starts Feb 22'25

Wondering how your Diamond experience went on the early June cruise.  We got email last week asking if we wanted transport and picking our perk for our August Alaska trip.  This was first we heard of being Diamond status.  Just got a flyer in the mail today.  Already have a January 25 cruise booked so not going to take advantage of their February 25 offer with the gala.  You said Diamond perks will be for all cruises through 2/25?  Yay for us!

Good news your trips still on!  Nice having the mini fridge in cabin to keep gel packs cool

if you need them. Good luck during your trip and with your Diam perks too.

Were on diff ship, but anxious to find out how the diamond perks work out.😉

On the enchanted June 1, hubs got the free spa treatment & free parking. For the parking, they did ask for a receipt of what we paid, & gave him it back in cash. I purposely made a copy of it, in case they asked. (On Carnival elite cruises, he gets free parking also, but there they dont ask for a receipt. They give everyone who parks, the cruise parking garage amount in cash)

Does being masters help in getting into things like Broadway show and Aqua show?  Folks using the app to book early has limited getting a seat onboard or even a few weeks before sailing.  Can masters level or casino host help?  Leaving next week — have been trying for a couple of weeks to book.  Thanks.

in the cabin, on the first day, you'll see a 4 page flyer about the casino. It did say, in the small print, that masters dont need reservations for the shows! Brought it with me & used it for the ice show. The crew member had no idea, & when I showed him the flyer with that info (I had circled it), he let me in. Bet many dont know about it.

Well, I'll be on the Enchanted again at the end of July, so I'll report back.  I'd love for that to be true, if nothing else than maybe the casino-comped drink doesn't count towards my Plus package 15 limit -- that would be the major benefit to me.

That was discussed on fb page.you cant get 30, still only 15 drinks.   Will be on enchanted this weekend,we'll see.

Seems  Princess is taking a page from NCL. Especially with New Levels, and when they expire.

Drinks...For those who don't get, or buy Plus perks?

Once you hit a certain # points onboard, you get drinks anyway.

carnival has had this for a long time. you get a drink card there.

  11. The Princess casino will be offering free drinks while playing in the casino once you reach 1500 points.
This is a new program and is gradually being rolled out to the entire fleet. By the end of September should be available on every ship in the fleet. Ask your casino host if it is available on your sailing when you sail. Heard its already on the Enchanted.

The new/ improved host😆  did indeed just contact us about Diam

perks for our upcoming (already booked) June trip.  👏

Yep, we got the email also, for our June cruise. Impressed that they know the ones we already have booked. For our Carib P in April, it was too new to get the free parking perk. But we did get the extra OBC for that one!

Mine is on March 2nd, so a month and half ahead. They give me a week to reply. No phone number to ask questions, such as, are the packages below for one person or for everyone in my party, i.e. 2 ppl? "Select your package by completing the survey. Details about each package can be found below:

    • BASK: Go all in on relaxation with a spa treatment valued at up to $150, five chances to scratch and win, plus dinner with your Executive Casino Host.

    • TREK: Bet on excitement with an onshore jaunt valued at up to $150, a chance to make a Deal… or No Deal, and a photo package to remember it all."

We did our prestige one in Dec. on Discovery to Hawaii. Did the Bask- the steakhouse dinner was fabulous, a round table about 12 of us, with the host & also the casino manager. Real nice wines & great conversation. I emailed back the host to make sure it was for both of us,(it is for 2 people) & she emailed back -"of course". I don't do spa, so my hubs was able to use mine as well, up to $300.

Now I’ve been watching ch1 in our cabin. When I see the top tier event on TV, I’ll take some pics of the TV with our phone!

They’re showing the rerun of the Love & Marriage game now.

The older couple won last nite for their Halloween costume- they were titanic victims!!

Wore great waterlogged & shredded clothes, from the early 1900’s!

There's nothing to catch. Once you have paid the deposit on a cruise, the Pinnacle certificate covers whatever is left other than port fees and taxes, so it is not a free cruise.

    Capture.JPG

Just became pinnacle yesterday. The loyalty ambassador gave us the crown & anchor card with phone # on it, to only call them for the free cruise. You should just be paying the port charges & ins, not the $200 deposit also.

OMG...the filet last night in CK was fantastic!  One of the best steaks we have ever had, and we have been to Chops, Giovannis, and CK many times in the past.  This one was the best!  😋

Yes, had it also!! Best menu there is the first nite. But last nite I tried the lobster salad with the pineapple & vanilla sauce, for the 1st time-delish! And the shrimps in the shrimp cocktail is huge. Who needs chops, etc.

Grace told us that you both eat at CK real early, so we haven’t seen you yet. We go later, at 7:30pm.

Yippee !  Sounds like they were expecting you and will take care of you for your upcoming cruise, too !  So glad it’s all coming together.

The comp cruise is an ocean view balcony.  Of course, you can upgrade it if you choose.  We had a specific room in mind so we paid a few bucks (less than $100 I believe) to upgrade to a slightly higher category of OV balcony.

The one question I forgot to ask (and I’m sure someone on here will know) is if we had not upgraded would we still have gotten C&A points ?  I think the answer is “yes” but there were some rumblings a while back about not receiving C&A points on comped cruises. Not sure how that finally resolved.

I’m sure you would still get c&a points/days  for the comp cabins. For about 8 yrs, my hubs has been playing in the casino & getting comped cabins on royal, princess, & carnival.
We still get loyalty days on all 3.
