  1. Thanks for all the great responses and info. I must say that was a nice extra service when they carried your tray to a table for you, even though I am perfectly capable of carrying my own :).

We much prefer being served to a buffet, so always go to dining room or specialty restaurant for dinner, but sometimes do buffet for lunch or breakfast.

Info re drinks was pretty much what I expected, sounds like we would be better to get them beforehand, correct?

That's right. Get your drinks first and put them on the table then go get your hot food.

Why get your hot food first then let it get cold while your getting your drinks?? What an Amazing Timing Concept!!!!

And Thank Goodness........ Trays are going, going GONE.

  2. "Reflection the Show" was by far the best cruise show I have ever seen. Very well done Celebrity. Main sets for the show with Journey, Rolling Stones, Van Halen.

From the Celebrity TODAY. A journey of an "everyman" through his transformation into a rock star. Speciality act performances, aerial artistry, music and dance combine into a theatrical circus production featuring top anthems of arena rock. Featuring the Stars of Reflection.

  3. We dined in Qsine once and came away with the feeling of now that we have done that ONCE there won't be TWICE.

Did not at all enjoy ordering off an impersonal Ipad, isn't that why in the first place you go on a cruise......to get away from cellphones, emails and Ipads?

Maybe we goofed up and let the waiter influence what and the amount to order. But we were very embarrassed at the amount of food wasted and didn't feel real good with the various different types of food we consumed . Being from a food distribution background, Qsine really reminds me of a Food Show. The one thing you learn from Food Shows is not to eat or sample multiple and many types of food in the sameday. It's kind of like drinking multiple types of liquor in a night, wine, beer, tequila, rum, etc, etc, your system can and will easily go into shock.

Keep Qsine just where it currently resides and in 2 or 3 years replace it with a new "Another Trendy Concept".

  4. Ship - Solstice

    Deck - 7

    Cabin # - 7268

    Class – 2A

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

    Bed near?(balcony or bath) –Bath

Quiet Cabin (With comments on problems. Note if connecting. ) – Being a Mid Ship hump or pop out cabin was surprised at the amount of medium vibration felt in the room especially when sleeping. Not heavy vibration, but medium. Must have been due to being so close to the main 8 elevators. On all other S Class ships we have been on all of our rooms were vibration free.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Great viewing room. Balcony glass does not have reflective "X" mirror you can find on Solstice ships on the hump.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal size

    Was wind a problem? No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem?

Any specific problems with this cabin?

    Any other comments? Great location
