The Epic is a wonderful ship that folks seem to love or hate.

I think it has the best spice h2o in the fleet.

the nightclub bliss is large and busy with activities.the spa is aft facing with a large balcony,also one of the nicest on ncl.In addition it has the largest studio complex and lounge of any of the ships.

The first 5 years the Epic had the blue man group.and legends in concert instead of burn the floor.

i believe Priscilla is nearing its five year run in 2020.

when they do make a change we will discuss it here on cruise critic at length.

The studio lounge bar is on deck 11 forward.it has limited hours in the early evening.the lounge will have coffee,water,and snacks all the time,juice and milk in the morning.

No bottled water but they do have glasses you can fill from a iced water dispenser.they also have milk and orange juice at breakfast and a coffee machine.

In the evening they will have a bartender who may have bottled water for sale.

It is possible,with the current promo to apply a cruise next certificate to an existing reservation as I did it last night for my New Years  cruise.actually you can apply two to any cabin category as I did on my studio with the new promo.call ncl back,good luck.

I have used this promo on my last three cruises and you don’t receive the credit until after you take an ncl excursion.

we had to skip great stirrup cay where I had a jet skiing excursion booked.i politely asked if I could get a double credit at our next stop and was told it’s use it or lose it in every port.your travel agent is mistaken.

The EPIC spa is co-ed with separate locker rooms.

I have sailed on the Epic 8 times with 2 more booked.she has the most studio cabins and the largest studio lounge in the fleet.

I think Epic has the best nightclub and the spice h2o has great parties as well and is larger on the Epic.

I often book within a few days of a cruise being announced.if I have a cruise next cert.and the price is right it can be two years or more.

It helps with the wait to have multiple cruises booked.

When I dine in the mdr for lunch I order all of my courses to arrive all at once.

Aft is closer to more of the venues I frequent.

I sailed in November on the epic.booked through cas with a discount and I received no drink card like I had in the past.

I recently returned from a sailing on the epic.our itinerary was changed because of the hurricanes.very few excursions were available till I boarded.many excursions were available to book onboard and my excursion credit was automatically applied at the end of the day.no problems.

Last week on the Epic the slots were available but no table games.

Fake news everywhere I look what do I believe?

Having been on the epic 6 times I'm gonna have to go with my personal experiences.

I think I'll keep my reservations on the epic.

Twice I have gotten off the EPIC,into a cab and to MIA for a 10am flight with time to spare.

no.

I have made a 10 am flight out of Miami on three separate occasions.

It's nice to be home early. just do the self walk away off as early as possible and get a cab and instead of a shared shuttle.

I was off the ship by 730 and at MIA by 8.

What is it about NCL that makes people come back? What do you like the best? except for pricing and drinks package - what is there that makes NCL better or different for you?

 

I will start with mine - the only NCL ship I have been on is The Spirit and I LOVED the buffalo wings from Blue Lagoon. (I didn't even know buffalos had wings!!!)

Studio cabins for solo travel.ncl has really embraced this concept with t1 cabins on the escape,epic,breakaway,getaway & pride of America.

Also casinos at sea and latitude rewards coupled with cruisenext savings keep me coming back.
