  1. Teens or children would ruin Nachi fairly quickly for everyone. I do not understand why parents would bring kids to Nachi when they have so many other places i.e. Mr. Sanchos they they can go wild in. Those places are set up for kids. Nachi is setup for relaxation and piece and quiet. Kids turn every pool they get in into the Lido deck marco polo power hour. I concur with the food evaluation but the nachos and quac were great. Don't understand the sand thing as my beach chair was perfect. I will probably do Nachi again but I will pray that the kids are diverted to other beaches.

  2. The AFT deck above the AFT pool served as a defacto Adults only area. Kids did come through but it was only in passing - nothing there to keep their attention. Go up early and secure your lounge chair as they go quickly. For reference its the deck the aft flagpole is secured at.

  3. FYI even if you don't have the offer on your AMEX call the customer service number and they will add it. There is a simple link in one of these threads that you click on and it automatically adds it to your AMEX. Ive used it 3 times now. My card and 2 of my parents AMEX. The credit shows up within the week. ex. 500 charge from Carnival. then in a few days -100 statement credit. Then AMEX bill $400. Very cool program too bad its ending in 2 weeks.

  4. I had the social media package on the Triumph earlier this month. Very slow but it worked. Heres the crazy thing the Apple App "find my friends" worked the entire time. My dad was tracking me all over the gulf the entire time we were gone. FYI iMessage worked with other apple phones. Facebook messenger worked very well for everybody. The chat function worked well but I hardly ever used it.

  5. So I would get my coffee at the coffee bar in the main buffet room every morning. I always had it with kalua or the Caribbean coffee variety (tequila I think). They take your card like normal and you sign the receipt however 4 days in a row it did not count toward my 15. I imagine this was because of the barista incorrectly coding the beverage but who knows. Anyway it was a great way to start the day.

  6. Parking at the Cruise Ship Terminal is $20 a day. Nearby Fulton Place Parking is $10 a day. You can park on floors 6/7/8. The entire setup is painless and the shuttle quick and efficient. They load your bags both ways. Its actually easier than the parking garage and the terminal. Google around and you can even find a 5 dollar coupon. I imagine everyone of their customers are for the Triumph cruise ship so you can imagine it's very specialized. Good Luck and have a great time.

  7. OP here. I wasn't real clear. On Triumph you have 1 guys burgers joint. When facing Aft you actually have 2 lines leading to the counter. The Port side line is the most obvious as it begins amidships. People seem to gravitate to this side. Always 20+ people in this line. The Starboard side line feeds the counter from the opposite side and is not easily seen from anywhere but directly in front of the counter. This line never has very many in it at all because nobody in the port line can see how many are in the starboard line and they just assume it is the same length. LOL. Seeing is believing. Thank Me later! :)

  8. Just returned home yesterday. Trip was amazing. New Orleans to Cozemel. Stayed in Deck 1 - 1374. Very quiet room convenient to elevators. Lots of reviews about this ship often negative. Seems like most of negatives were just nit-picking. Ships a bit older but still beautiful. Drinks are great. Food is good. Pro-tip. Send someone up to lido deck aft deck (above the covered pool area) - go upstairs and secure your deck chairs near the flagpole early @8:00. The place is as close a serenity area as Triumph has. Chairs fill up fast. Once your chairs are secured send some to bring up breakfast, drinks etc. Deck area is great because just downstairs you have bathroom - ice cream - least used bar area(no line) - pizza - etc. There is also a steward who cruises by regularly and takes drink orders. You can barely here the non stop Marco Polo game going on in the downstairs pool. lol.

  9. Have Delta AMEX gold. Offer was not originally on benefit available for adding to my card. Called card services and they added benefit. I then booked cruise through Carnival.com paid with Amex. 1 hour later I received email advising me ai would receive $100 in statement credit. Very nice deal.
