  1. Here are the two sides:

I had a panic attack last night when I zoomed in on the DBH interior... as it had white chairs and bistro tables. But I calmed down after realizing it was the same generic interior as FR. The angle shot shows FR’s old interior.

They should just go all in on the primary colors and paint the lifeboats.

  2. "Carnival Fun Finds" Coupon Book can always be purchased on-board for $25 with over $2000 in deals.

Available from your on-board "Shopping Expert" at the weekly port talk or at their desk.

Most agencies do not stock them as they do expire.

Also as they are not(n) free they won't just show up in your stateroom.

Not sure why you were told otherwise.

You are replying to an 11 year old post, talking about two entirely different coupon books

  3. Hi

Just to help me out here. If you want.

Will they do this for any cruise/cruise line booked?

I imagine how much you get back depends on how much you spend. Is there a minimum amount you have to spend?

Do you need to negotiate an amount, or would it be a specific percentage?

Are there certain types of TA's that are more likely to rebate clients? I have dealt with some online TA's who have given small OBC, but certainly not hundreds.

    thanks for any help

Bear in mind you are responding to a 3 year old thread,to a poster that’s been inactive for 2 years.

Cruise compete use to have great deals, but not so much in the last few years, but they are always good to check.

  4. Companies don’t have sales or promotions to make their customers feel like they are receiving something extra, they do it to sell products that aren’t moving as fast as they would like. If a company doesn’t have incredible deals, it means they don’t have to resort to that, in order to sell their product.

I think the early saver rates(especially with reduced deposits)while not for everyone, have been a great boon for Carnival,it’s allowed them to lock people in to a cruise and offer the passenger price protection until a couple of days before sailing. That has allowed them to not have the last min sales or 0% solo supplement sales that other lines have to offer to fill ships.

  5. I just saw that the first cruise on Spectrum has gone Code Red... she definitely isn’t sold out... playing with itinerary... or adding a new one... 🤞?!

Or a charter...has there ever been a full ship charter that occurred right out the shipyard.

I’m just being facetious, but I’m curious if any company has ever tried to request that.

  6. We all have different tastes and expectations when it comes to food, but when I read someone say that it’s inedible, I can’t really take them seriously. Bus seats, metal, glass, plastic, wood are inedible.

I’m sure if these people hadn’t eating in a week and were offered a meal from Carnival that inedible would become edible very quickly.

For whatever reason people feel like they have to use hyperbole to get their message across.
