Any information on the Lima HOHO Bus.
We are visiting on NCL... do they provide any transportation out of the Port area?
What is the best way to make our way to the HOHO Bus Route?
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks.

We are also interested in the Hop On Bus in Cartagena... any suggestions? Can we walk to the Bus Stop from the Pier? (Stop #2).... Or is there some kind of shuttle in place? Any info appreciated.

We are visiting Santa Marta in December on NCL. There are no NCL Excursions offered. It this a place where you can get off on your own and explore? Are there any suggestions on places to see? Or is it better to get a taxi or hire a tour? I can't find much information on this port.
Thanks

Is there anywhere to see Penguins on the West Coast of South America?
We are the the NCL Sun December 2017 and wondering if we might be able to see any?
I have searched threads they all seem to focus on Falklands to see them....
Thanks in advance

Do they Xray checked baggage upon boarding or do a physical search?

Interesting... when I read this I assumed it was per guest:
Guests may bring aboard 2 bottles of wine or champagne for their enjoyment onboard. All additional alcohol, including those bottles purchased at ports of call along the cruise route, will be kept by the ship’s purser and delivered to your room the last evening of the voyage. Guests may consume the outside beverages in the dining room, but a small corkage fee will be applied to the guest's onboard account.

We will be arriving on Saturday and getting a Taxi directly to the Port to board our cruise. Can anyone suggest a convenient place to ask the Taxi to stop so we can purchase wine to carry onboard? (we are allowed 2 bottles each).
Thank you!

We will be there in just over 2 weeks on Wind Surf. Wasn't sure about St Bart's but now I am really looking forward! :) Thanks for all the info

We are leaving on the WindSurf in 2 1/2 weeks :) (Feb 27) and received our "E-Documents" from our TA back on Jan 12th. I was not expecting anything else. It states in part:
..... "This email delivers your complete Guest Documentation, which includes your tickets
along with vouchers for any hotel reservations and transfers you have booked
through Windstar Cruises. Please print out the entire Guest Documentation for
each guest in your party and bring it with you on your cruise."....

We are renting a car for the day in St Bart's.
What are the absolute 'must see's'?
We will be visiting some beaches (St Jean, Colombier, Shell).
Anything else we should do?
Thanks

You may want to check on this...
There is another Thread on Windstar boards regarding the WS Legend, and apparently they anchor at the same location (by Prickly Pear)...
They are saying that you are no longer able to Tender to Bitter End, or the other location. The only way you can Tender is if you are on a WS Excursion. The only place they will tender is to the Prickly Pear Beach lunch.
If you are able to confirm otherwise please post as we were also interested in doing this exact trip to the Baths on our own on the Wind Surf in Feb.
Thanks and good luck.

Thanks, we have already been to Virgin Gorda so if we did go again, we wanted to do it on our own (rent car or try to take a ferry we could). Don't want to see it badly enough to pay that much $$ for it though... and I've read the Ship's Tour is a bit crowded and rushed too.
We were just planning to take the Tender to port and walk around a bit and then see the BEYC... which now I guess we will not.
So, we will have to suffer and go to a lovely BBQ on a private island and swim in the sea and lay on the beach... *sigh* ...vacation is hard. ;)

We will be on our very first Windstar cruise in Feb...
So, just so I am clear... if we do not pay for a WS excursion we will not be leaving the boat in Virgin Gorda except to do the BBQ?
Will the swim platform be open? Also, is there snorkelling, etc on the Island? (any reefs?). Thanks in advance.
Coquimbo, Chile - Penguins
in South America

Has anyone done a tour out of Coquimbo, Chile to see Penguins out of LaSerena to Isla Damas? I see one through ToursByLocals which is full the day we are there (Dec 22).
Just curious if there are any other Tour operators who can accommodate us?
