Thanks, we're hoping for Cinderella and the Advengers.

Does anyone know what movies will be playing in the Dream? We said next Monday. Yay!

Hi, I'm about to pack for our cruise that's a week away...I know most of my blouse will need a good press. How quickly do they turnaround items to be pressed! Are there any day 1 specials?
-
Thanks for the advice (and chuckle) everyone! I'll pack some comfy lounge wear And share your comments with my little group about sweaters for the dining rooms. I'm traveling with friends and we have three staterooms side by side. We hope to open up the space between each.

This is my first balcony and I was wondering how cool it is at night when sitting on the balcony. We cruise May 4th from Florida to the Bahamas. Would sweatshirt/pants be good?

My personal choice is Celebrity. It's not the party boat but not overly stuffy.
We did the northbound trip from Vancover to Seward on the Millenium. Alaska is beautiful (thinking of doing it again but round trip from Seattle). I sailed on Celebrity and Royal Caribbean and will be on a disney ship in May. If I can choose I'd go Celebrity.
If you do end up in Seward I highly recommend getting the "special" train. It was one of the highlights. (Cruise line runs this so ask when you make reservations.) cost was around $100pp but worth it in my opinion...
Best of luck!

I tend to purchase the photo packages when I can. I ordered for my upcoming 4-night cruise for $269 and change. It's for both CD and Prints....if you order online you save a couple of dollars.....

Thanks for the info! I will befinitely not be on that last bus...I'll share this with the others in my group.

We made all arrangements with Disney for both Cruise and Air...is there a special time we need to be on a bus to go to the airport? Our flight is at 12:20pm. I'm hoping we don't have to be up and off at dawn. It would be nice to have one final meal at one of the dining rooms...
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
Any idea what happens if the port arrival time we select is before the time we get there?
Our flight/transportation will be handled by Disney but I won't know those details until after I do my online check-in. Patience is not a strong suit of mine....
Thanks.

Will be going on our first DCL cruise in May. Reading all the posts have been helpful. I should have started taken notes earlier. Guess I'll start now.
What are the top reasons to visit Guest Services on Day One?
Thanks!

Book your own...take it from one who has learned the hard way...I called DCL directly this time and the rep was great. In the past we used TA's because we traveled in a group. By using a TA some cruise lines won't allow the travelers to are certain changes. This is annoying if your agent isn't available. Booking yourself you can make any change you'd like and you leave out the middleman and a possible booking error.

How many tags are included?

Thanks!

Thank you Moki'smommy!
I will share this with my group! I have 9 travelers and airfare outside of SW was a little high...if there was 9 seats. But I guess there has to be one challenge to hurdle. Hopefully thus is ours!!

Hi,
Could someone let me know approximately what it costs to take a taxi to the Atlantis? (I have a couple of ladies who will like to visit the casino.) What method of payment?
And is there a long walk to/from taxi stands?
Thanks!

Hi,
This will be our first trip with DCL and we did order the Ground transportation. I was under the impression that someone from Disney will be at Orlando to get our luggage as well as get it to the airport. They didn't say anything would need to be done different if we used Southwest, which we will probably do.
I gave a couple of elderly in our party and just want to make sure they don't get stuck having to deal with suitcases.
Any advice is appreciated.

There were lanyards galore on the grandeur earlier this month....all varieties....but the Bling styles were the most popular. If you don't pack yours the shops have them for sale!

Geez, now I don't know what to do....I bought a nice pink rhinestone lanyard for my friend's mom who will be cruising with us next week. (She likes Bling we like her). I would just hate to give her a present that may be cause for ridicule. Guess its a good thing I got lanyards for the group!
And now I have another dilemma...how will our group of seven be able to walk around ports and not look like tourists....cause if a tiny lanyard isn't a giveaway that camera of mine will be screaming TOURIST!

Hi...were the taxi's readily available? Did they accept US currency? Thanks!

Motherof...I also sail this October to New England...don't have the panoramic cabin though....but if I get lucky I'll see if I can sneak a peak....
Should I feel badly for my TA?

When booking cruises I recommend making the reservations directly with the cruise line....the last two TA's we used were a joke....I'm hoping this cruise goes smooth!
