  1. Southern Caribbean was one of my favorite cruises...you are going to love it! We also did Cosol's tour on St. Lucia & it was fantastic. On St. Marteen we did Bernard's tour...very good...best part was the stop at Maho Beach where the planes fly over & land directly behind you...will blow you away! On Barbados did the Five Star Catamaran thru Carnival and really like it also. Have a great time on your cruise!!!

  2. I stand with the last poster. My husband has Celiac Disease and he wishes every day that he didn't have to be on a gluten free diet (which if he doesn't follow he has to run to the bathroom within 5 minutes of eating wheat & breaks out in itchy blisters). He would like nothing more than to eat a yummy pizza and delicious bread again. But it's not just bread, there is wheat is so many things that you don't realize til you have to give it up. For those people that aren't truly gluten intolerant and are just following a fad...crazy. We are truly grateful for Carnival & the food industry attention to gluten free items...at least we have some more food options out there instead of having to give up certain foods entirely. :)

  3. Cruising Mickey, don't worry about your stateroom location, you can't hear any noise from the Lido deck unless maybe a little ancillary noise when you're sitting on your balcony. You chose the perfect location for a stateroom (as far as I'm concerned)...I'll be sailing on this cruise with you and our room is located a few doors from yours. We love staying on the Lido deck when we cruise, it's a quick walk to the buffet, Guy's Burgers, Blue Iguana and that yummy Thirsty Frog red draft and close to the forward elevators.

Key West is a great place to visit if you haven't been there before and Cozumel and Grand Cayman has something to offer for everyone. We went to Paradise Beach in Cozumel the last time we cruised, it is beautiful there and there is no high per person, all inclusive, charge. It cost us $2 each for a lounge chair and we bought snacks and drinks from the bar. In Grand Cayman, we took a shared taxi to Calico Jacks and LOVED it there.

    Have a great wedding!!

We are doing this itinerary on the Breeze Sept. 2014. Could you tell me about Calico Jacks? Thanks, 300+ days to go...ugh. :D

  4. My husband has Celiac Disease & eats GF. He ate Guy's burgers on the Conquest without any problem. Just ask for no bun and no sauces. ;) He also liked their French fries (so many places cook their breaded items in the same grease as their fries and then he can't have them.)

  5. Great video and looking forward to reading your review! We (along with 2 other couples) are sailing on the Victory in June. We will have rooms 8430, 8428 and 8422(ours). We wanted to open the dividers between all 3 balconies but from the video am questioning if its possible to open up between 8428 & 8430 (the aft-extended balcony). Do you know if this is possible? Also do you have any pics of room 8422? Glad to hear you had a great cruise...we are all really looked forward to ours in June! :D
