We have 5 beaches, Emily Bay, Slaughter Bay, Cemetary beach, Bumboras and Anson Bay. Emily and slaughter are exceptionally safe for kids. Plenty of coral, especially at Emily and Slaughter and Cemetary. Great snorkeling and 2 glass bottom boats operate. We have a waste management Centre and most unrecyclable is sent away. We no longer burn and push into the sea.

Bowling club, Leagues Club and RSL all offer meals.!Jolly Roger restaurant closed years ago and has been converted to a private residence. Black Anchor bar is across the road from the Westpac bank which is now closed. There is a Lounge Bar next to Fish and chip shop.
