I just went online to book the premium package. Even though I have the Always Included package (which is classic) they want to charge me $483. Not only $12 more per day.

thank you everyone for the clarification

This may be a dumb question, but here goes. Always Included is the classic package which is usually $59. The Cruise Planner says the Premium Package is $69. Is that what you have to pay to upgrade? It would be really hard to justify $69 more per day with the amount I drink ( one cocktail and one or two glasses of wine/day)
Paying the $10/day is another thought process altogether

Were you able to talk to anyone who was staying in a single IV room? I am anxious to hear what people think of it. The idea of a singles cabin (even if only glorified OV) was the appeal for me. Booked for next June Norwegian Fjiords cruise

Weather in Alaska in May is very unpredictable. When we cruised in late May 2013, temperatures were in the 70’s and 80’s. The temperature kept us at a distance from the glacier but land activities were very pleasant. Make sure you take clothes that layer.

Looking forward to my first solo cruise on the Celebrity Apex to see the Norwegian Fiords. I will be in a single infinite balcony cabin. Very nervous about traveling on my own

Wow! I did not realize I was going to start a storm. The only time I have been on a cruise in the past was to Alaska in 2013. The onboard internet was very slow and expensive. I was directed to a small café by crew members who went there to use the free internet for the cost of a cup of coffee.
I don't think $14.95/day for a single device is all that cheap if all I want to do is check my email for 15-20 minutes every couple of days.

check out Residence Inns in Meadowlands, NJ and Danbury, CT. both listed under $200 on Marriott site. Meadowlands is very convenient to Lincoln Tunnel or the Secaucus NJ transit station. Danbury would leave a longer drive on Saturday morning.

Does anyone know if there is an internet (wifi) café in Nassau? Hopefully close to the dock.

What is the name of that facility?

We were on the Millennium late May for an Alaska cruise that was rather port intensive with early mornings, but every evening there were several lounge shows/activities that continued past midnight. I was pleasantly surprised because so many postings had implied that the ship went to sleep early. Although I was not up until 2 or 3, there was plenty of activity quite late.

Thank you all for your comments.

I have never been on a cruise ship so please bear with me if this seems dumb. Is it safe to use the safe in your stateroom when you are off the ship? I have rarely used safes in hotel rooms because I was nervous about their security.
