Maybe fights break out everywhere in your neighborhood, but not mine. Mr. Roberts

Oh so you live in the only perfect neighborhood on the world. Cause I bet of you start checking you will that there has been more then a few fights in your neighborhood.
I was waiting for someone to take this into the cutback area...ridiculous. I think you are right you need to move on to a cruise line where the fighting control is much more organized....happy cruising.Sent from my iPad using Forums

Regardless, the security members committed criminal acts.
No criminal act by the security team. The person being kicked is engaged on a potentially lethal attack. As such the use of force of any kind to stop it is legal.
that deletion of evidence is one of the most disturbing things...clearly they knew they didn't handle it the way it should've been and wanted to cover up their inadequate "security"OTOH the CCL security team committed many filmed acts of felony assault on cruise passengers. It is called assault by means of a dangerous weapon, i.e. by means of a shod foot. So are you ok with that?Sent from my LG-H918 using Forums mobile app

The family that was removed from the ship behaved like thugs. They were so violent and threatening to other passengers that security locked a few of these thugs inside their rooms to contain them. Reports in the media describe an very unsafe and tense atmosphere onboard for passengers and crew.
Yet oddly most of the comments posted have been about the security team's behavior as they tried to break up the violence. I agree that the crew member who attempted to take away someone's camera was wrong to do so. Other than that, security did the job they are hired to do. If you don't like how it was handled, let them know the next time one of them helps you on your cruise.
If you listen closely. The person fliming was first told to leave the area. He refused that was when what appears to be attempts to knock his phone out of his hand occurred. But could those have been attempts by a much shorter person to push him out of the area.

Security officers in general are not trained to handle a situation like this. I wouldn’t expect better than average training for cruise ship security. It’s not fair to put someone in a violent and dangerous situation that they haven’t been equipped or trained to handle and then turn around and expect them to be fired when they can’t handle it. Would be kinda like taking you and putting you in a position of a NASA engineer and then firing you when you can’t get a space shuttle to launch.
I’m in law enforcement and dealing with an active fight involving multiple parties is harder to deal with than it sounds. It does take training, equipment, and enough personnel to stop it safely. I don’t expect any security guard most likely making minimum wages on a cruise ship to put themselves in the middle of a fight and get beat up themselves.
And just btw, tasers and batons wouldn’t have helped much. Mace is the right tool for that situation. If security doesn’t carry mace, have to wait till you’re have more guards than fighters before you intervene. Then u go through in pairs, cuffing everyone up. A guard acting alone to break up a fight is a recipe for disaster

And here you may have hit on the real problem. According to reports the family at the center of this. Was 26 strong, it would be a shock to me if any cruise ship had 30 security guards on board.

As long as not mean shorts or hym shorts no problem. I tell people on non elegant nights. If your dress would be ok on the golf course, then it is ok.

If you don't have a luggage scale. Weigh your self. The while carrying your bag weigh your self again
The difference will be the weight of the bag

If you change levels during the cruise. You will be the new level at check in. So if you reach gold during your cruise you get the gold card.

Many will tell you. You don't need to take you passport ashore. However, keep in mind although you most likely won't need it. If something out of the ordinary happens. And you are the one in a million who misses the ship. Without it could take you many days, possible up to a month to get home.

I just finished reviewing the report. And from what I read I don't think there is much to be worried about. A lot of deductions were for on timely paperwork. Then I saw one an issue of dirty cups and a sealed box of cups on the floor. That was listed 4 times. And a report of a food cart that the bowls of food were wrapped in plastic wrapp but the cart wasn't covered. The Vista failed with a 79. Each infraction is worth 3 points. The two for paperwork alone. Which although against the rules set up by the CDC but isn't really an issue that would effect anyone on board. Would turn the falling 79 into a passing 85

Because you can't order it from room service. That was a morning ritual we always had.
There is nothing saying you can't order it from room service.

Have always gone thru Carnival. 6 years ago showed why we will always spend the extra to book with Carnival. We were on Colon Panama. Our excursion was delayed getting back to the ship. A group of 12 had booked same excursion thru the same vendor. We got an escort back to the ship. The other 12 missed the ship had to get there own way back to Fort Lauderdale from Panama.

From what I have heard your status won't change till you check in. Cause that is when they know you will have the required points.

We always use cash. Biggest pro easier to control your spending on board. Con the need to stop and put more on your account if midway thru you find you start with too little.

Here is an out of the box idea. Oh by the way the we are using in January. Stay at the Miami International Airport hotel. And take Carnival's shuttle from there.

Remember, just because Carnival goes to an island, it doesn't mean the island is actually a good place to visit.
The minimum standards that Carnival has will be met. That's why you will be there.
That is true of any cruise line. The question becomes if Carnival or any other cruise line skips some of these ports where do they stop instead?

Once, just once, it would be so awesome there was a mass protest against this indignity and half the ship skipped the drill. Obviously people are sheep so I don't see this happening unless a couple big groups got together and agreed to so it beforehand.
Guess what you can not skip the muster drill is International Maritime Law must be done with in 24 hours of boarding.

Yeah I want looking thru past post. And found where my confusion came from. When the policy was first talked about it was going to be 15 minutes. Then people complained that was not enough time. So I will ask again what I asked then. How is fair if you come up to the lido deck. And can not get a lounger or a place to sit and eat, where there are people who have both. They are sitting at a table but their 40 minutes are not up yet.

Sorry but Carnival authorizes people to leave their chair for 40 minutes while still retaining it. What the people do in that 40 minute period is up to them. Carnival's house, Carnival's rules.
Where have you heard 40 minutes?

To me the answer is simple you have the chair/lounger while you are using it. It is one thing to go to the restroom or to take a dip in the pool. However if you are going to lunch, to explore the ship back to cabin. Sorry you are not using it you lose it.

We were in 7310. Walking in the hallway you could hear low rumble at times. But never heard anything in our cabin.
