Yes, you can purchase the non alcoholic package for only one person but not the Plus package, all adults in the cabin must buy it. (Tips -18% are already included)
Unless your a big drinker the alcohol package is questionable.
Never understood why people think they need to bribe the room steward the first night in order to get good service? Always had good service via autotips and we leave extra if we feel they deserve it.
Wish it was easier to get same waitstaff each night. Lately get new ones most nights and typically do not carry cash while on a cruise. So overall waitstaff loses out.

It isn't always a large dollar one on Princess 🤗
We will keep looking but on the two cruises we would have bid on one was smallest for upgrade from mini suite to mini with the upgraded dining (thought it was a bit high but we wanted to do the dining and did not get accepted) and the other an upcoming cruise that is way higher than we would bid.

On RCCL the bid can be relatively small, and we did it and got a nice upsell.
Disappointed on Princess how the minimum bid for upgrade is rather a large dollar one.

Now that they decided they could charge us to ship the medallion for first time will pick it up at the port. Will see if that will take extra time and if so can reconsider.

I forget to mention that you cannot transfer the booking to a TA if you have already made the final payment for the cruise.
And our TA will get us a better price or obc if we transfer booking to her. Think you have 30 days to do so.

Done it twice and was great. However when we did a land tour after cruise a lot of places had already closed or were closing up so we did miss some stuff but was still a great time

If you care mostly about the ship Majestic as we love the Royal class. For itinerary Alaska but both interesting itineraries.

.you bought it on the ship no corkage to be charged

I recently sailed on the NCL Bliss and will be sailing on HAL Eurodam next week followed by Princess Sapphire.
NCL recently increased the gratuity from $15 to $20 while cutting stewards pay and eliminating turndown.
https://www.cruisehive.com/norwegian-cruise-line-to-increase-gratuities-for-all-passengers/89754 They are also cutting back on what I think was their best feature - Entertainment. They cancelled Kinky Boots on the Encore by telling the cast they were no longer needed.
https://cruiseradio.net/norwegian-cruise-lays-off-entertainment-staff/
There is more nickel and diming, but just wanted to show Princess isn't alone.
Wondering if they are cutting pay for crew while increasing gratuities for all of us? Princess still has turndown at least for now.

On Sky March 18 and could only swap bar for one bottle of wine. No coffee card, no obc.
Lots of crew suggested we complain to Princess on comment card, which we did as we really liked the coffee card but not likely to come back.
We would even buy the coffee card but Princess will only have it if we purchase a drink package and not even close to worth it for us.

Took just a minute to purchase it on board last month on Sky. Same price either way and they have people readily available to help.

DH and I are excited about the changes to the Enchanted, BUT it’s disappointing to see that they’ll now be charging for what is in essence, the Pub Lunch.
They are looking at more and more things that we can pay for that used to be included. Apparently the coffee card will never come back which is very disappointing.

I wouldn't bother pre-ordering MedallionNet any longer. Here's why:
1. There is no longer any benefit to this as the pricing is now the same on board as pre-cruise (used to be more if you waited).
2. If you order on board, it is charged to your on-board account and any OBC you have pays for it.
3. There have been multiple reports on this forum that guests are finding the 4-device charge on board is $30, instead of the reported $40 (or presumably it is $40 in the Princess App???). No guarantee this will last and could be a mistake, but you could get just one 4-device package instead of two single-device packages for same dollar cost and have more flexibility.
4. No worries about the App bug that doesn't recognize correct CC Member Level.
To sum up, there is nothing to lose by waiting and perhaps benefits to you to wait until day 1 on the ship.
Agreed and especially in our case when we have no need for internet first few days especially if cruise begins on a weekend

Just off the sky last week an we purchased internet package on the ship, three days after sailing and got the 50% discount.

Just back from the Sky and ate dinner in all three dining rooms and really no difference comes from same galley.
We do find it better to have same table, tablemates and wait staff for entire cruise as it is nice to get to know people and waitstaff understands your preferences.
Luckily for us we hooked up with two other couples early in the cruise and had dinner together each night.
-
We bid just over $ 100 (had minisuite on deck 15) and did not get it. TA was empty and never a line to get into restaurants.

On the Sky, a few weeks ago, Pub Lunch was listed in the Patter as an option in the buffet.
On the sky TA last week did not notice it in the patter but walking thru the buffet saw it and enjoyed it.

We had some great dinners on Royal class ships at $ 40 or perhaps a bit less in the past but way more than we would care to spend on dinner.
-
We complained about this on the comment card I sent back yesterday but think the day of the coffee card is gone forever.
Now the game is getting us to spend more on the ship.

We commented on lack of coffee bar to several officers on the ship and also comment card.
Since we no longer drink the $ 60 drink package makes no sense to us. Asked a international waitress if they were selling less coffee but soon became apparent she had no idea what I was asking her.

We were on the cruise and just back.
We booked the cruise to see Casablanca and were disappointed not to go there.
However due to the storm they made the decision to get to port early and they do have a responsibility to keep us safe.
We did have an opportunity to spend the obc at the shops or at the casino and we had no problem doing so.
We all had the opportunity to pay a very small amount to go on the cruise and lets face it the cruise lines do not have the resources they used to have.
BTW it was still once of our better cruises. Cruise director and staff were outstanding.
They did refund the port fees but thought $ 29 was rather small but they were not giving out details of how they arrived at that amount.

Have the mailing address but where does one get the form to send with the brokerage info? Do not see it on website
I do know that Carnival and Princess each has their own form and would imagine HAL would have its own.
Thanks

Wife was (very) positive for covid on the Sky a couple of weeks ago...midway thru a 7 day trip. Princess tested, confirmed result thru their medical team. We were isolated for the last 3 days of our trip. A sweet gal in the pursers dept was assigned to coordinate with us. We survived well, I was negative and could roam the ship. Anyway, as we debarked our gal from the purser gave us letters of FCC, carefully telling us to be sure to keep the letters safe so that we could prove we have the Princess approved credits to use on another sailing. (must use within 1 yr) Wife is still positive, but the test line is fading a little more each day.
We were told we would get it within 3 months and the other day our TA said it has been taking about 2 months. We shall see.

On the last day or next to last day we do too. Not on day 1 to say 7.
