  1. Many people cruise on a budget and still have a lovely time. I have been pre-paying for everything for several years now. Gratuities, beverage packages, excursions, the sanctuary and any specialty dining I plan on treating myself to. I would purchase on board credits to cover what I intended to spend. I started out with a credit and they would debit my account as the days went by. I have never had a problem with them placing large holds on my credit card that is on file. I seem to remember them placing one night of gratuities to make sure the card was good. The hold fell off a day or two later.

Don't let some of these snarky posts get to you.

  2. Actually, my niece was potty trained on a ship. They made big deal over the special toilet and the sound it makes.

Told her only big girls get to make the toilet make the special sound. She didn't have a daytime accident the whole trip.

  3. Thanks for your feed back. They advertise on ship that you have 60 days to purchase and is it correct on onboard credit is different. I also know that on ship you can purchase as many as you want and that it doesn't matter of you are already booked on a future cruise. I don't know why they wouldn't sell her one based on the stated reason that she was already booked on a future cruise. It just doesn't seem to make any sense.

  4. My sister called to purchase a future cruise credit and they wouldn't sell her one because she is already booked on a future cruise. I was under the impression that you can purchase as many as you would like to as long as you are within the posted purchase time. She spoke to two different reps from Princess and they said their are restrictions on post cruise purchases. Have any of you heard of this happening before?
