After speaking with a carnival rep... The screens have changed.

Before you could select gift cards and enter the info hit apply and you were done.

Now its a new payment area, after selecting gift cards and entering the info, then click apply.

you still need to go down to the 'Other Payment" section and enter the total amount of the gift cards and click select then submit again.

I used the app, did not give over any info. Picture of 1 page of my statement that only showed name and stock owned. received approval 2 days later ( submitted over a weekend) and then applied for credit and was approved the next day.

Pride transatlantic - machine broken, occasionally there were packets but they were snapped up very quickly.

Is there some new trick to applying the gift cards on the carnival website?

I enter a card number and pin and click apply.... it says applied, but when i exit the screen and check the balance the card has not been applied to the balance.

Hello all,

My wife and i will be staying at the Pantheon Iconic Rome Hotel ( Marriott) via Santa Chiara, and we are going to be taking an early morning tour of the vatican which does not include transportation to/from hotel/Vatican.

If any one is familiar with that hotel do you know if it will be easy to get a cab at 7:00 am and approximate cost?

Unfortunately the subway is too far of a walk for me.

Are Chibang and Cucina Del Capitano restaurant included free as part of the dining rooms? ( the way Mardi Gras is setup.)

Just an FYI. If you lose or forget the url click on the search button on carnivals site and type in “deal finder”. No quotes.  And click search.   The first result should be the calendar view.   Happy Cruising!

For starters, we both had the Arancini and the Caprese salad…….

 

 

 

For our mains, Patti had the spaghetti carbonara, and I had the chicken parmesan…..

 

 

 

We shared an order of crispy potatoes which we both didn’t care for…..

 

 

For our desserts, Patti had the maple ricotta fritters, and I had the apple crostata…..

 

 

 

The meal was okay, but didn’t live up to our past experiences at Cucina del Capitano on other ships. We’ll give it another shot next week.

 

After dinner we walked around the ship for a while, and stopped to watch a little bit of Voodoo Moon at Center Stage. It didn’t impress us much, but I think that we were comparing it to “Soulbound” that we saw on the Horizon and Panorama. Afterwards we decided to call it a night and made our way back to the cabin where we found tonight’s towel creature……

 

 

Coming up next: The final sea day of this cruise and Fahrenheit 555.

Unless you had bad weather, i really like the outdoor seating at Cucina on MG makes for a beautiful setting!
