Man overboard on Princess too . what a day.

1:30am ?? And they are just starting a search now? That can't be good
People may have assumed she went to sleep in a friends cabin or met someone or who knows.
Last seen and "oh crap where is she" could be 12 hours apart.
-
According to multiple people onboard its a 33 year old woman. Hasnt been seen since 1:30 am.
-
I don't get it, we are talking about a missing person, not a contagious disease outbreak. How does ordering other passengers back to their cabin help a missing person search?
Hope they find this lady safe and sound.
Because its much easier to look for one person who isnt where they should be when everyone else is out of the way.
-
They would know if she was left in port because her name would be flagged in the system.

I always go and play the penny slots. I don't expect to win anything, nor do I care. I like the entertainment, I like people watching, and betting more would exhaust the amount I budget for casino much quicker and kill my fun.

Print out the Carnival forum post with the staff response. That way IF you have any trouble from a staff member you can offer them the forum post.
I say take it with you. Take the smallest ones you have (as I know there can be differences in size). There are lots of places on the lido where they could easily be set up between tables next to the window and not be in anyone's way.
ps. If the Lido gets annoying I recommend any of the lounge/bar areas near the MDR. There is NO traffic there during the day and there is lots of room for the pack n play!
Thanks! I am only taking one for both babies, so they can be set down to play when needed but not be able to walk or crawl away.
You know babies, once they've realize they can move, it's all over.

I have never seen anything against it in Carnivals rules and as you said, if you call Carnival, you will get 5 different answers.
Personally, I would take it.
I think many posters are misunderstanding and thinking that you will leave it there all day, unattended while you went your merry way. If this were the case then I would have to say no but I don't think you are planning that at all.
Haha, probably but I could not have been more clear than I was.
-
In my experience, calling Carnival 5 times gets me 5 different answers, which is why I would prefer someone who's seen it done, or done it, with no issues.
-
Let me be really clear up front - (I also think it sucks I have to defend a post before I even post it)
We are traveling with a group of 20, and usually plan accordingly and get a few tables together, which we occupy all day. At some point, each table has 3-4 people sitting at it.
Now, between the tables, near the metal wall with windows, there is enough space for a pack n play to be set up for the 2 small babies we're taking.
I am not concerned about it being in anyone's way - it wont be in any walk way, it will be against the wall between 2-3 tables we are using. They're small, about 3'x3'
That said, is there any specific RULE against this? It would be really nice to be able to set the kids someplace to play without them crawling off every 5 seconds.
I didn't ask on the family board because this is specific to any rules Carnival may have.

when you return?
It seems like the number of reviews is nowhere near the numbers of people who join a given Roll Call, for example.
Reviews are very helpful to other travelers. Please write and submit yours!
No. I have 3 kids, 2 of whom are under 2, oldest is autistic, I am a small business owner.
Sorry, I just don't feel obligated to spend a few hours writing out a review but I am grateful for the people who have the time luxury as I love reading them.

As a reasonably intelligent person, I can deduce from your post you meant if anyone reading your post had stayed in the room and had any input so I shall save the snarky comments.
I did a quick google search, because you can find pictures of most cabins that way.
I found this.
Hope it helps a little.

They blocked it, but if you google it, you will see the corresponding link.

Why give Carnival your money now when you could have it in an interest bearing account?
Because I like having things paid up and out of the way more than I like that .20 cents interest I earned.

I rec'd a pack n play offer but sailings from Port Canaveral aren't on there. There were a few for Galveston on there but I am from GA and that is too far to drive. Is it possible more sailings from different ports might be added before the offer ends on 5/23/16?
Carnival's website has been acting up, and I haven't been able to find a lot of cruises I am certain are not full.
However, if I go through this link:
http://www.carnival.com/find-a-cruise.aspx
and use the filters for a specific ship, I am able to find them.
I would try that before giving up.
-
Do you mean Pack & Go offers ?
Like all Carnival sales, only certain ships, ports and dates have reduced cost offers...
This is nothing new for Carnival or the other cruise lines.

If you're going to make snarky remarks, you should probably be sure you have your fact straight.

The only problem with sharing is when you send a message, you have to hope the other person reads your mind and then logs in to check.

LOL, I'm actually surprised at the overwhelming love of the Yeti. The only people who chastise or make fun have never used a Yeti.
At first glance, $40 ($80 in my case) appears expensive but I have not suffered through a watered down, lukewarm drink in over a year (except for the last 3 days of my cruise). Money well spent in my humble opinion.

My awesome Yeti handle
My husband works out on road calls all day in Atlanta summers. A cold drink that survives our heat is worth it's weight in gold.
-
Jesus Christ, can't someone just buy a $40 cup without everyone telling them they're dumb? Seriously, get over it. You spend your money how you want, I'll do the same. We're adults and don't need CC members parenting us.
That said, I sell decals so all of our Yeti's have our names on them.
I plan to take ours. If someone steals it, it would suck but I'd rather have it with me. I am a sipper, and I like my water to stay cold all night so it's cold when I wake up 40 times to pee.

I love Starbucks.
Some people hate Starbucks.
If they hate Starbucks, it doesn't affect me or change anything for me.
The cruise ships reviews are the same way. Pretty much mostly personal opinion.
-
Have you done this before? Just wondering. It sounds like a great idea.
I havent but I got the idea here:

I am grabbing some magnetic hooks and 2 shower curtains so I can hang the shower curtains from the ceiling and block off an area for the baby to sleep.
Once a Day Room Cleaning on Carnival?
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
It's only once on certain ships and you are supposed to be given a choice.
But, I can't imagine how gross someone has to be that you can't clean up after yourself just a little to the point that once a day is "unacceptable" and worth removing tips over.
Let's penalize the room steward over a trial program they're being told to comply to. Thats hardcore.
