You should be off the ship by 10 am, at the latest. Barring any unforeseen happenings. You will have plenty of time to get to the airport.

Sorry about this. I first posted this on carnival site, and was told to post on Florida Departures. So I did, then my post on Carnival site got moved to Florida Departures. So now I have 2 postings there.

I have a cruise in November. Out of Jacksonville for 1st time. Am looking for hotels for pre and post cruise. Am currently looking at Holiday Inn Express, at Mayport Beach. How close to port is this hotel? Is it a decent hotel? It has some good reviews, if you can believe them. Any help would be appreciated.

What class ship is the Equinox?

Sailing Equinox on Sept 10.First cruise with Celebrity. I'm a bit confused, although I've always cruised with Carnival or Royal previously. I have a few questions. 1. Trying to print my boarding documents. Where do I find the luggage tags to print? 2. I'm Elite with Celebrity,crossover as Diamond with Royal. Are we entitled to any free water bottles? If so are they in the cabin, or do we pick them up somewhere? 3.Are the doors in the halls magnetic, so we can use magnets? 4.Is the Express passes I printed, what we use to board? Along with our passports, of course. I know, I know, we're supposed to use an app. I hate apps. I'm 78 years old and my phone takes calls, makes calls, texts, and snaps few pictures. That's about it. It is not glued to my hand. It's turned off, in the safe while we cruise. Hey, I am using a computer. that's a huge step for me. Carrnival and Royal are pushing apps also, but still allow us old farts to use the traditional ways. Any help someone can give me, will be greatly appreciated.

I'm going on my first Celebrity cruise in September. On Equinox. Can anyone send me pictures of the main dining room menu's? Are the menu's the same fleet wide? Carnival has started that, and I hate it. Wish they would change it up a little. Also Carnival has cut so many corners, the menu's are mainly boring. And since I don't eat any kind of fish, or seafood, and the steaks are usually tough, there's not a whole lot else to choose. I'm hoping Celebrity will be a bit different. I know people will tell me to go the buffet, and I do sometimes, but till you walk all around gathering your food, and find a seat, everything is cold. I know, I'm too darn picky, but I try to do my best. I'd really like to see what my choices on Celebrity will possiblybe.

This is not my 1st cruise, but it is the 1st with Celebrity. Previously with Carnival and Royal Carribean. What if any, are differences between the 3 cruise lines?

I have my 1st Celebrity cruise coming up in September. One of the main. reasons I booked Celebrity, was because No Smoking in the ship, especially the casinos. Now I'm reading that they are going to allow smoking? Designating half the casino smoking and half non smoking, just doesn't cut it. When does this policy start?

Can anyone post copies of the MDR menus? I will be on Equinox, are the menus exactly the same on every ship They are that way on Carnival now, and I hate it.

We've been on over 40 cruises, but never on Celebrity. Others all Carnival or Royal Carribean. Are there any meaningful differences on Celebrity? Do people dress more for formal night? just read that they still use table cloths, paper menus, and have delicious bread. All great things, in my opinion. No smoking in the casino. Also great. I know nothing about the different class ships. What is the Equinox like? They accepted my diamond status from Royal, so I will be Elite on Celebrity. Will we get any complimentary water? So many questions, sorry. Any helpful insight will greatly be appreciated.
