  1. Yes, you can withdraw cash at the casino if you are willing to pay the 5% surcharge. You can then do whatever you want with the cash.

Not sure, however, what you mean by "use ANYWHERE". if you mean off the ship, then the answer is yes. If you want to spend the money anywhere on the ship other than the casino you would be better not to draw cash but put the spending on your seapass card [and save yourself the 5%].

Thank you. Now I understand. Will be using a lot on board. But will be nice to draw some to buy a meal or drinks in Port. Rather than spend it all on board just for spending sake. I intend to enjoy some specialty restaurants and some treatments too.

Thank you for your nice reply.

  2. Im well and truly confused. Having asked the first question.

Got a large amount of OBC with the 123 go package. and asked can i draw cash in the Casino from my on board credit.

    Ive got the headache. Lol.

Can i draw CASH in the Casino to use ANYWHERE. Even if it costs me 5 % ?

Or can soneone explain slowly to me what the posts are telling me please.

    Totally confused. 😉

  3. I am very disappointed and frustrated with Royal's promotions and advertising over the past year. It all seems deceptive and manipulative: raise the price then offer a complicated deal with all sorts of exclusions. It's really changing how I feel about doing business with them. Other lines are becoming more and more tempting with every so-called sale they offer.

I'm totally with you on this one.

  4. I didn't get anything as I've walked away from booking. The price is far too high.

I did that exact thing this year with Célebrity. There was such a vast difference in the deal. I cancelled lost my deposit and re booking was still £s in pocket.

Making me a lot more cautious about what I book in future.

The point I was trying to make. When they advertise they don't print the full deal. You have to look at the bottom of the page to see what the deal offers in the small print. All Inclusive to me is All drinks including Cocktails and Spirits. Many people will get caught out thinking they are getting a Premium Package. When all they are getting is Beer and Wine.

  5. I am a loyal fan. Every June I do the Indy trip out of Sputhampton.

The more I am hearing about what the Anthem has to offer that's replacing Indy the more disappointed I am.

I love Formal night. Why do I want to go to all the effort of dressing up and looking the part and someone else hasn't bothered. One thing or another, that's what I say.

One disappointed RCL fan. Feels like a Celebrity cruise next year.

  6. Flying into MIA?

Taxi from MIA to Miami Beach will be about $32+, more if you are staying north of South Beach -- farther north is more family friendly (and you can use the public bus to get back to SB for dining/shopping/nightlife) but you will also be farther from POM.

    • When do you cruise? The same room that is under $100 in August can be over $300 in prime tourist season (now until Easter).
    • How many in your group? MAny SB hotels are older and can only accomdate couples -- travelling with kids may push you to stay farther north.
    • Desired budet?

Too many unaswered questions to give you any accurate/valuable suggestions.

    Hi john

Thanks for your reply. I'm afraid it's the busy season 19th December. We are a couple. Just looking to see a little of Miami before our cruise would like to be on or near the beach and close to the port.

    Thanks

  7. I have never stayed in Miami before. It's like needlei in a haystack to me. Could someone just give me some brief advice to save me trawling the net.

2 night pre cruise stay. Would like to be on or near the beach. Easy to get to the port. Don't want to be running up large taxi bills.

I've read about South beach ?

Any hotel suggestions would be good. Nice hotel medium price bracket please

  8. I think what Steve means ...

Mrs Kalos .." Right put that suit on and don't move and once I put your dickie bow on ..leave it alone ."

    Me ... " Can I move now ?"

    Mrs Kalos ... " NO ! " :(;):D

Sure you will have a great time & enjoy your dressing up . ( I do ,I think :) )

  9. Sat at home, off work poorly and feeling sorry for myself.....opened my emails and whoop whoop my tickets are there for my cruise at Christmas!! Guess which has just started to feel a bit better!!!! :)

    Just had to share that!!!

Nice one. Shame they don't have like this comment on the site lol.

We will be right behind you on the 29th Dec ..New year

  10. For men it's Dinner Suit, Suit or some just wear a shirt and tie. For the ladies it's long dresses, short dresses, evening trousers and blingy tops, basically it's what ever you feel comfortable in. And if you don't want to get dressed up there is always the lido

Oh but I do. Just love dressing up.

    Thanks
