Hi Deb...this is the Debbie that was on a cruise with you. We took that snorkling excursion on that 10 day cruise at one of our ports. It was the one which made me think twice about ever doing that again...lol! Hope you are doing well.I see you are still cruising. Maybe we will meet up again! You can book on board and tell them you want it through Royal Caribbean and NOT the travel agent you had booked your cruise with. RC will not give it to your previous agent. I've done it before, and I'm now a TA. If the agent on board told you it had to go through the same agent you had booked with, they were wrong.Sent from my XT1565 using Forums mobile app

Thanks!![emoji847][emoji847]Make sure to get the strong ones, i.e., the ones that hold the most weight. The cheap ones will slide down the wall!! Trust me on this, lol!Sent from my SM-N950U using Forums mobile app

Thanks a bunch!!![emoji4]Amazon has several kinds of magnetic hooks....Sent from my SM-N950U using Forums mobile app

Where do you get the magnets when doing this?FYI, one can purchase hooks (to hang from the ceiling) and a light blocking curtain to hang between areas. I did it for a cruise where I was sharing close quarters with a friend and wanted some privacy. (My butler saw it and asked for the info for his cabin!)Sent from my iPhone using Forums

I meant it also applys to dinner reservations. The ship only gives a certain number of reservations out before the cruise. You will be able to book when you get on the ship. This also applys to the shows. -

Yes, it was once called the White Hot party, then it swiched to the Glow party, but some still wore white to it. Now we will see what they will introduce as the "Next Party". Those were fun parties!!My first cruise and first time on the Bliss in July, so I personally won’t miss the Glow Party. What makes it a signature party? Is the Glow Party on all the other NCL ships? -
Wow!Who’s up for an evening walk on The Waterfront? -
Can't waitThere’s a media / travel industry cruise April 19-21, and then there’s a bunch of us boarding on the 21st for the inaugural transatlantic.I expect we’ll get flooded with photos on the 19th, and expect to see some official NCL photos arriving before then.
And then 12 days of dark & blurry drunk photos from me.

Yes it does from this view. Thanks!Tough to say with the hallway space, but gaming looks to be carried further into Skyline Bar than on prior ships. -
Usually smoking area is a small area of the casino. This looks like about half of it. Either way, people will be happy if it stops the smoking smell on decks 6,7,and 8. Thanks for pic.NCL FOR THE WIN. -
Thanks for picture!! Been missing seeing those![emoji847][emoji847][emoji847]Rainy days at the moment..

Thank you![emoji5] This makes me feel better about canceling. I appreciate the information.Information on NCL insurance https://www.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/booksafeYes.
Step 1: Cancel your cruise. As part of the cancellation, you will pay the cancellation penalty based on where you are with penalties https://www.ncl.com/about/cancellation-fee-schedule
Step 2: When you cancel, you get a cancellation receipt telling you exactly how much you will be refunded. And how much "penalty" you will have to pay.
Step 3: File a claim with the NCL insurance company. They will ask for the cancellation receipt. They will ask for the reason for cancellation. If you can make it match one of the covered reasons, great, you will get the cancellation penalty refunded by the insurance company. You will need to provide proof that the cancellation was result of one of the covered reasons.
Step 4: The insurance company will notify you and NCL if they decline the claim
Once that notification occurs, NCL will place a credit for 75% of the declined amount (90% for platinum coverage) on your account. In the future, you can use that amount against a future cruise. You have to use the entire amount for once cruise.

I know, but when you get the insurance they say you can cancel for any reason. Maybe if the insurance won't cover, NCL gives you 70% of what you paid toward another cruise which would be $2,200 in my case. I am hoping this is the case. I was hoping someone reads this that has had to do it. Just don't know. They didn't give me a policy. It was in the part that says 90% back, 70% back for a cheaper price, and 0$ if you didn't want any insurance.Read your policy or call the insurer before you do anything else. No way for us to know what coverages you have or don't have, and whether your reason is sufficient to be paid out on. If insurance won't cover I don't know why NCL would issue a future credit versus refunding whatever prorated amount you may be entitled to. If that was the case it removes incentive to take insurance for cancellation.Sent from my SM-N950U using Forums mobile app

Has anyone had to cancel their cruise using the insurance bought with the ship? I'm in the process of doing it. I should be able to get 70% of what I paid, but have to cancel cruise first and then talk to insurance company and fill out paper work. It takes at least 3 weeks. My reason is work related which I don't think the insurance will cover, so it goes back to NCL to be put on future cruise which is fine with me. I'm just worried it doesn't work that way and I lose the whole amount. Anyone been through this experience? I would appreciate any advice or experience anyone has had. Thanks in advance.[emoji173]

Don't you think NCL asked cruisers what they liked that wasn't on the other ships. Hard to believe they would put 2 new areas with country music just for the heck of it.Or would be an incentive for me to book her. Which I have.Sent from my SM-N950U using Forums mobile app

Ok...I'm jealous!!Perhaps the Marriott on Brickell? That would see the marina and cove over on Key Biscayne that has lots of sail boats and you can see the port as well. You may also be able to see that marina from the Intercontinental and you will see that and the port from the Mandarin Oriental as well.
I happen to be sitting at the desk in my den and can see the sailboats!

I stayed at a hotel by the port but can't remember the name. Could someone help? There was a marina behind it with sailboats and you could see the POM also. I want to book it again but can't remember the name. Anyone have an idea which hotel it is?
