Was booked in one cabin with my daughter & DH and grandchildren were booked in another. When we got onboard just went to Guest Services & asked to switch my daughter & DH. They did without any fees incurred.
Perfect thank you

Oh
I thought my wife could just move into my room , and my friend can just move into the other room. ?
Then they both would have there own charging privileges and we would have are own ?

A little help please , We just booked a cruise with very good friends of ours. My wife and I received the casino rate , so what we did was I booked one room with one of our friends in the same room , and my wife booked a seperate room with the other person in her room , this way they received the better rate on the cruise as well.
So my question is when is the best time to switch people in the cabins?
Is it at Check IN or once we get on the ship at Guest Services
Not sure if it will matter There CC is on my wife's room so they can pay off the cruise and they will put there CC for on-board expenses on that room during check IN
If it makes a difference we are both booked in Suites
I am hoping this will be a easy process ?
Your help is appreciated

Here is a plus
If you dont want to see the concert you will actually have more time in the port
Since the performers come on the ship just for the concert then leave before departing that port
Will the ship’s departure from the ports change on concert nights? On concert nights, the ship will set sail at 1:00AM. Guests will be allowed to enjoy the extended hours in the ports of Cozumel and Nassau, however due to the fact that Catalina is a tender port and tender operations are not available at night, guests must return to the ship as posted onboard well before 1:00AM.

Here is all your questions answered
http://www.carnival.com/Core/FAQ.aspx?faq=CarnivalLive#q-1555543
I dont see this being on many ships the ones that hit catalina are only 3 or 4 day cruises out of LA , not worth going on that crappy cruise to see someone
But hey if these artists were on one of my ships i might see them or i might not , its not z bad option to have IMO
From the FAQ's
Will Carnival LIVE be featured on all ships?Carnival LIVE concerts will be aboard a select number of Carnival ships and sailings in 2014 that call in Cozumel, Nassau, or Catalina Island.

I did exactly that. The 8:30 AC regatta ended with enough time to catch a taxi to Maho and catch the big planes landing. They don't really start coming in until the early afternoon.
I did book the excursion online to make sure that I had the earliest possible time.
Great Thank you we are going to do the same , we went to Maho last year and had a blast , so we really want our friends to enjoy both..
-
They have it running all day. I booked the 8:30 am time. They also had an 11:45 am and 1:30 pm time. That was on a day when only the Dream and the Oasis were in port. Availability will probably be dependent on how many ships are in port with you since they can only run so many boats concurrently.
Great Thanks , we will be the only ship in port that day , and we want to take our friends to Maho beach as well

I did that in St. Martin. Since you book it through Carnival, it will be on your ticket. They'll be out on the pier waiting for you with the rest of the Carnival excursions.
Did you know what time it started , was it first thing in the morning ?

Has anyone done this Excursion , What time was the excursion at , I see on the site its only a 2.5 hour excursion , but wanted to know what time the pick you up at the ship ?
Your help is very much appreciated

Great Info thanks everyone , didnt think about if they had to cancel , but im %100 PERCENT they are going :)
-
ok great thank you for the info , I was thinking onboard would be easier as well , just wasnt sure ... I wasnt sure how for check in you would handle the CC on file , but I guess once onboard you can just go and make sure the right CC is on the right room

Hello All - My wife and myself both have a casino offer , and we are planning on taking a cruise on the Valor again , We are going to go with very good friends of ours , they have never been on a cruise , my pvp told us we can book separate rooms - meaning my wife would book a room and I would book a room and put one of our friends in each room , so they get the casino discount , then we can change people around when we check in.
I just wanted to confirm that is the case and how exactly it works ?
Any help would be appreciated

Cabo has an overnight.
Cabo is a tender port , they dont let you go on and off the ship all night do they ?
I believe they actually have to sail away off the coast a little when in cabo, then come back the next day

We will be doing this cruise at the end of September and I'm a bit confused now. Your photo of the ship appears to be at the terminal near Old San Juan but we were told that the ship sails from the Pan American pier.
I love OSJ so I would be very happy if we left from that terminal.
We did this cruise last year on the Victory and it was from the dock in OSJ
We are doing again in October as well and it is from OSJ

You need to be onboard no later than 8 or 8:30.
Depending on the time of your flight' date=' I wouldn't risk it, but that's just my preference. If you can only fly in the day of, make sure there are other flights you can take if something should go wrong with yours.[/quote']
I like to fly in the day before but on this cruise I have no choice but to fly in the day of the cruise and we dont land until 6pm , since we are getting married the day before :) , But I have allready checked , there are plenty of flights from San Juan to the first stop in St Thomas. they are around 80pp , so if something really bad happens that is a alternate option
Just wanted to throw that info out there

there was such a lull on Valor reviews, so happy we are starting to see more , looking forward to yours

Awesome , another valor review :) did this itinerary on the Victory last year and I am doing it again this October on the Valor
casino free drink card
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
FYI if you get 1500 points you get the drink on us card for that cruise , but if you get 5000 points total for the entire cruise , you automatically get the drink on us card as soon as you board your next cruise ...
Just need to call players club when you book your new cruise and let them know you are cruising and they will make sure its on your account .
