Call CAS in a week or two. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a free cruise offer for you.

Setting up my first slot pull. For some reason I was thinking there were machines with $6 max bets. I see WoF is $3? What's max bet on the Quick Hits machines? Are there other machines you'd recommend?

Mine said "up to two offers" but it was one for insides and two for oceanview.
This. You have to mouse over the offer to see it's just 1 for insides.

I'm on the Joy on May 4. Here's what's showing for me:
FOOTLOOSE
5/8 - 7PM & 10PM
5/9 - 7PM & 10PM
ELEMENTS
5/5 - 7PM & 9:30PM
5/7 - 7PM & 9:30PM
-
Everytime I won an upgrade, I've always been already checked in.

Joy 5/4 to Alaska. Bid accepted at $105pp, minimum was $75. IA to BA. CAS booking, "free" offer from land based casino.

I'm on the Joy May 4 sailing (also courtesy of CAS). No one in my roll call or FB group had received an email to bid. There is no option either on NCL website. Heck, the restaurant reservations aren't even working yet and we're 74 days out!

Yes, but the price difference is almost always more than the difference for a paid cruise. CAS always claims there's a "fixed" price for upgrades through them.

The 15% off pre-purchase has been the best deal I've seen so far.

Makes sense, thank you
csn anyone comment if they were happy with or not with the plan?
I didn't care for it. Sometimes messages would take a while to be delivered and more often than not I could not connect on a call.

Does your certificate say the following on the bottom?
"This certificate has a trade-in value for additional cruise options not listed. Ask your Norwegian representative for more details."
I forgot what the trade-in value was, but it may be more than the Total Rewards discount.

I've never received an email, either. However, for my next cruise, I never even got any type of offer whatsoever but I decided to give them a call anyway. They offered my a comp. inside cabin. Just call them and see what they can do for you! (And let us know here what happens)

From where did you receive this email? CAS?

On the Bliss from MIA on Dec 1st.
Jersey Boys on 12/5 and 12/6. (Days 5 and 6)
Havana on 12/2 and 12/3. (Days 2 and 3)

Thanks for this review! We're on the Sept. 30 sailing so I'm hoping for good weather.

On the Escape from NYC to Bermuda departing Sept. 30.
Was on a family inside (I2) courtesy of Total Rewards/CAS.
Bid $80pp ($160 total) on a balcony 2 weeks ago. Just got the upgrade message it was successful.
I'm now on a family balcony (B2).
When I called CAS about paying outright for the upgrade, I was quoted $800 total. So in the end, I only had to pay 20% of that.
I think I'll just surprise my wife on the ship. She hates inside cabins.

Check your credit card . You may have some travel insurance coverage.
This. I have the Chase Sapphire Reserve and they have decent travel insurance benefits, which is why I opted not to purchase any extra insurance.

Gratuities are $181.30 for 2 on a 7 day cruise. You'd come out $6.30 ahead if you choose that.

I leave on the Sunshine this Saturday, Sept 16. I've been checking several times a day for the past couple weeks. Just past midnight last night, FTTF finally became available! Needless to say, I scooped it up right away! So there is hope even up to a few days before a cruise.

You are correct and either method can be used for the physical gift cards.
Thanks for the info! I'm going to take pics of the physical cards with my phone just in case I forget or misplace them.
-
So if I'm reading this right, at the kiosk I can punch in the gift card # and PIN from an e-gift card?
I have physical gift cards that have the number and PIN on the back. Could I just get those numbers and punch them in too? Or do they have to be swiped, etc.?

Hi, on the same cruise leaving 9/16, so I may be asking a lot of questions. :)
Can you tell me which night(s) were elegant nights? And which night was lobster night?

I was on a cruise from Dec. 7-14, and I also got the same amount for the same dates! Quite curious to what this is. (Already booked on another cruise starting March 1, so would be nice if it's something I can use!
