  1. Not sure about cost, but if I remember correctly, you rent them both at the activity area...its the area on the beach with the flags, kayaks, catamarans, etc

  2. There was a sign on the dispensing machine near the pool bar and WJ not to refill water bottles because of sanitation issues. Nothing about refilling cups. How do you keep those straws clean ?

    There's a brush for that.

  3. Got one on your suggestion as well!!

Thinking of bringing a white noise machine. It seems like I always pick the cabin next to the loud folks....and this upcoming cruise we are below the Windjammer....anyone try a noise machine on a cruise??? Do they work?

I use a white noise app on the iPad, it works great and has an alarm feature as well.

  4. We actually liked Freeport- did a bike ride all over the island and it was great- very flat and nice to get some exercise. Port Canaveral is pretty bad. Not a bad Port to sail from, but not there long enough to have an interesting day as a port stop. People who go to Disney complain that they actually only get 1/2 a day there because of the travel time, and NASA is also a long day. I am not a fan of Grand Turk because there is nothing I want to do there. I do not like Margaritaville or their beach.

I also try to avoid cruises with tender ports because that eats up your day.

Grand Turk is one of my favorites! Leave the port area, every beach on the island is public. We had a gorgeous stretch of beach to ourselves. Great meal at a beach bar. One of the best vacation days we've ever had. [emoji2]

  5. Shallow will be in closer to the shore, wall will be out at THE WALL, one of the largest reefs in the world. Do the wall, you won't regret it.

They usually give you a little floaty vest to help with buoyancy, and with flippers anyone comfortable in the water should be fine.

  6. Again, I will bring up the need to make the "Cheers" program accessible to more people. I am a light drinker - so the $49 a day package is completely out of reach for me. I firmly believe if they create a "shared" package for a cabin - instead of no one in the cabin buying - you have just increased your sales. It certainly is worth trying it out on a few ships.

Agreed, I'm a very light drinker, so the cheers program is a no-go for me
