  1. For those who don't know a CVP works with you finding not only the best price but also the best OBC as well as good cabin placement etc.

I have been w/Celebrity since the early 90's and used to do everything myself but about 8 years ago I stumbled on a Great planner and never looked back. I no longer had to deal agents that  barely knew what they were doing. My CVP was outstanding. I would just bring a booking to her.and nice things would happen.

I truly dread the thought of having to call an agent and having to try and explain everything without pulling my hair out.

  2. Wow. I just got a message that my long time, wonderful CVP was being replaced by another person. I though that it was maybe a scam. She did a wonderful job for me and I am very disappointed.

I know that time marches on and things change but but every time that I find something or someone that I am happy with Celebrity seems to take it away. (Thanks and goodbye Cynthia at ext 44144)

Hi.  We are sailing tomorrow on Reflection. Terminal 29.   Do we drop off luggage first and then park?  Is there a shuttle from garages to terminal?  Thanks

Did you find out if there is a shuttle from the Palm garage to Terminal 29 and what time it starts?

I know when you come home there is a shuttle back.

Depends on the timeframe. For example, if on March 1, 2018, you bought $10,000 of RCL stock and I added $10,000 to my 401k plan. Today your RCL stock would be worth $5,820 while my extra deposit to my 401k would be worth $14,353. Based on that, you’re not doing very well.

We’ve done two 14 day cruises on MSC in the Yacht Club Deluxe Suites and are our two favorite cruises out of the 47 we’ve taken, and the cherry on the cake, over $100 p.p. per day cheaper than Celebrity, in a Sky Suite. This was pre pandemic.

Nah. I bought in 2007 or 2008 @ about $10 per share. Today it is about $71. It might be time to get out.

  5. Investors Business daily just rated it a "Buy"

2023 earnings up to $3-$3.60 vs 2022 loss of $7.50

The seven biggest advance booking weeks in company history have occured since Nov. 2022.

I am no longer a big fan of cruising with Celebrity after a sail in December but apparently everyone else is happy.

My RCL stock is happy also.

Maybe I will make enough profit to try MSC Yachtclub.

EV on Beyond in Jan/Feb this year.

Lived up to expectation, which was high.

We full pay promptly up front when reserving our trips/itineraries for all forms of travel. Always select specific seats, rooms, inclusions.

Know (and knew) what to expect well ahead of time. Capable of navigating the "who" and "what" to get what we seek.

Celebrity delivered. The Spa shoreside team delivered. The Retreat shoreside delivered. Our stateroom staff delivered, especially the butler, but also cabin steward.

Superb all around, though we mostly remained in Retreat areas.

Same ship, same room for our 11-night Mediterranean cruise this August.

    Celebrity, you done good.

Wow! You were in an EV. I did not know that.

Have you sailed in 2023? If so, what were your experiences? Not good I imagine but please share.

I sailed in Dec 2022, 10 weeks ago. I am Elite+ and only sail in suites.  I was a dedicated Celebrity customer but I was disappointed enough that I will comparison shop in the future. I would never have considered another cruise line a year ago.

2023, less than two weeks ago.

We were *fully* expecting a sky-is-falling experience based on the reports on cruise critic.... and were shocked when it didn't happen.

The only thing that was tangible as a change from the past was not having the room service scrambled eggs included for breakfast without a charge. Knowing how hit/miss these can be, we decided not to risk it.

Otherwise, things were great: bars were fully staffed by competent crew, our room steward was excellent and meticulous (wrapping up usb-c cables on the desk, etc), and the entertainment staff was all over the place making sure people were engaged/not.

Well I am very happy for you. Unfortunately many (many) others found the opposite to be true. I guess that we have different realities or different standards either of which might be true.
