I don't have it. (Blue card) 😢
It might be a targeted offer. I recently paid a final payment for a cruise in March using Amex. They might be sending the offer as a bait. I will bite into it and use it for my Alaska cruise in May.

Just received an offer from Amex gold card, spend $1000 direct with NCL and get $200 credit. Offer must be added to card 1st, and redeem by 12/29/23.

That is pretty good, If you have American Express gold, the have an offer of $200 credit if you charge $1000 with NCL direct. Offer must be added to card first, good till 12/29/2023.

And they will come up with no charge?
No charge, unless you take a dish that has an upcharge.

I did buy 100 shares of RCL at $40 (when poor Carnival earnings dragged down the RCL price), and sold last summer when it reached $100, so the profits paid for 7 Celebrity and 2 Royal cruises.
You took 9 cruises for $6000? Please tell the rest of us how to do that!
Hummmmmm,,,,, I'm trying to solve this equation. Maybe he took 9, 3 days cruises on Carnival.

You can book specialty restaurants at 120 days out. 125 days for platinum or higher.

Check out the NCL transfers from the airport. January in NY could be sunny and brisk or a blizzard. That could be the longest 24 minutes of your life.
This, taxi or uber avoid lots of headaches and hassle.

Its like a 3 cards monte game.

Are you onboard now? Either way, you will be charged $1000 for the certificates. You do not have an additional $1000 of OBC. That $1000 was used to offset the cost of the certificates.
Not onboard now, that's how they explained while onboard last time.

I bought 8 CN certificates, $250 each, that is $2000 in CN deposits, my card was charge $1000 and also have $1000 in non refundable OBC

Folllowing along, thank you for posting. Have a great cruise.

From Port of Miami?
Disembarking at Port Everglades, only 10 minute ride to airport.

I like the edge class, but in this case save the money and go with Equinox. If prices are that good I might jump on that deal.

I've made a 9:40 with enough time to visit the lounge first. As long as there are no issues with the ship getting into the port, you can walk off first thing and be there with 2 hours to spare.
Excellent!! I have a 10:30 out of FLL.

True, but if I pick my flights, I get to choose.
If NCL gets to choose, it's going to be their preferences, not mine.
Im with RocketMan on this one, I rather select my flights even if it cost me extra.

Reading this thread, the more I'm convinced that I have take advantage of cruises that are 60-30 days away. I'am ready to go anytime, just have to get my wife on the same page.

Squeeze all that juice the juice on that orange, thats the name of the game, just like they do on some real estate transactions.

I agree. I was more curious and NCL didn’t say anything formally. Just a tad scary but I know there are backup generators etc.
Ask the chief engineer for a report.

It's a wonderful ship, and that's a great itinerary (that we sailed this past August.) People seem to really enjoy criticizing this ship.
100% correct, sailed on the Prima before, can't wait to sail on sister ship the Viva next March.

If I want an upgrade from balcony category BA, I would bid for the haven.

Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort is about 7 miles from Pan American pier. 12 to 15 minutes in light traffic, more when a ship is in port.
After reading some reviews and recommendations, ended up booking Marriot Isla Verde. Thanks.

If trying Barrachina or Raices for dinner, consider making a reservation beforehand. If there is a cruise ship on port, its almost impossible to get a table there.

read my lips.... BALCONY!!!!. if your wife needs the balcony, she'll be most unhappy with the ocean view, and then you'll have to live with it for the rest of the cruise (and maybe even for the rest of your life)
I agree with you on the price difference, but I'm with complawyer here, it might be worth the $2500 extra to keep her happy.

The last offer I received and used was last December, $350 credit when you spend $1000
