  1. Rented a Whaler from Somerset Bridge Water Sports last August and will be doing so again in a couple days. Looked at others but decided to stick with what worked.

As with a lot of high use rentals, boat could have been nicer but ran well. Owner and employees or family were nice. Rode a scooter. Quick and easy. Parking is poor and tight but, got out when done. If you book online, you only get a confirmation number and details. One thing I don't care for is it doesn't block out some or all of your credit card details though never had problems.

Was looking at Blue Hole Watersports but a little harder to get to early in the AM and decided to stay near the ship and beaches. To Blue Hole Watersports credit, "Michael" was the only one out of two (the other being H20 Sports) that I contacted via e-mail to return a message.

  2. Thank you for taking the time to write your review. :)

I was a little hesitant booking the Dawn (leave 7/18/14) but being I cruised on the BA last August 2013, figured I'd try another ship / port and save a couple bucks. I don't expect much. Hoping for a problem free cruise and nice weather. Looking forward to visiting Bermuda again. :D

  3. I'm doing the opposite. Went to Bermuda via the Breakaway last summer and will be aboard the Dawn in 10 days. Didn't want to spend a lot of money. Just wanted to get away and the Dawn makes this more affordable yet the destination is the same. But yes, I will have a 4 hour drive in the AM to Boston.

While I like new and flashy and liked the Breakaway, The Dawn will work though will miss the water slides. :D In your case, if money is not an issue, by all means, change things up a bit and enjoy.

  4. Thank you for taking the time to write/post this rewiew. Thinking about pulling the trigger on a second cruise to Brrmuda. First one aboard the Breakaway and possibly a second cruise aboard the Dawn. Have a cabin on Celebrity Summit for a second time but just can't make it official. NCL has been okay so far and I have a cruise reward burning a hole in my pocket. :)

What to do. What to do...

  5. Thanks again folks! :)

I currently have a very cheap inside cabin ($399 per person) on hold. Snagged it this morning. Not crazy about a inside but might be just the ticket to try a different cruise line. Just need to see if I can make the cruise on such short notice (leaves next Sunday to Bermuda) before making it official. :D

Back on topic... Reservation automatically assigned my "Celebrity Select Dining" which is what we want from what I am reading so all good there.

  6. At $19 per day they must at least clip the nails of the K-9's
Clipped, I am sure. But when a four legged animal that stands and walks on dirty concrete jumps up on your painted bumper or hops on your bumper into the rear of your SUV, light scratches in the clear coat are possible. Aside from the fee, only thing I didn't like about parking at the pier.
