  1. Are there two night stands, or one double-wide?

I've been on plaza a lot, and many of the cabins have

a special double-wide night stand -- apparently because

they are slightly narrower than other cabins.

So, if you have a queen bed, either one side has to be against

the wall, or you have to turn the night stand sideways, and lose

    access to the drawers.

Other than that, I love plaza. Perfect to run out to the i.cafe

for first coffee of the day.

We also had two night stands and would fall asleep with the bridge cam channel on.. It was nice to wake up to that's for sure.

I love also just being able wander out in my yoga pants and zip up running jacket to grab a coffee and a breakfast sandwich.

It's also convenient to the laundry room which was nice when I needed to just quickly iron a pair of pants. :) I wouldn't travel on any other deck.

Have a Trans Atlantic booked for April on this deck also an interior,I don't need to be reminded we are at sea for 6 Days

  2. Our first time to choose interior on 15 day Hawaii cruise in October and would appreciate any input on available staterooms. The ones remaining seem to be below just the entrance to Princess theater. P239, 240, 243, 424, 263.

Has anyone stayed in any of these staterooms and any comments, positive or negative as to location, possible noise, etc?

I think the furthest I have stayed back was P227 and I didn't hear any noises.

This is my favorite deck and I've stayed in a plaza cabin on 3 different princess ships. (Grand, Crown, Ruby)

It's so great to be so close to the IC in the morning :)

  3. The area that serves Pizza outside on deck also turns into a waffle bar in the morning on some ships.

I had great hot waffles from a waffle maker with berries and cream and

I didn't even have to enter the Horizon court... very relaxing.

  4. I already had the promotion applied from our January Sailing and was used to pay for my April Transatlantic. Those who took those sailings make sure your Credit shows in your personalizer.

I was surprised at how many people who were on the qualified sailing weren't aware of the promotion.

  5. You can get a great cup of Large tea for no punches on your Coffee Card as long as the card is purchased on that sailing.

If your card is from a past sailing it will have to get punched

Morning tea and breakfast is so convenient and hassle free in the IC.

If you sit at the IC they will bring you a nice pot of your chosen tea to your table.

    Well Worth It!

  6. True, each punch of the card equals $2.22 (easy to remember for comparison)

So even owning a card, if buying a $1.75 espresso one would want to charge it to the cabin. They don't force you to use a punch.

    ~sent using Cruise Critic app~

You get free Fresh Brewed with a brand new card, with an old card each coffee is required a punch. After your first cruise you should only use the card for the more expensive coffees.

  7. We are cruising on Sth America 49 days on Crown Princess if i buy coffee card can i get a cup of tea and coffee at the same time or do i need to buy 2 cards

    thank you in advance

You can use one card for specialties it's all about the punches but if you are getting two non punch items at the same time you are supposed to have 2 cards.

  8. Your Coffee Card Can Also Be Used On Other Princess Ships If You Don't Use All Your Punches, I have one I've been using for 2 years. You won't be able to get the Free Brewed and Free Tea after your first cruise.

If you purchase the card through princess prior to boarding you can also save a couple of dollars.

  9. Are the TV's on the ships able to be hooked up to

DVD players or computers if we pack the cables?

    Particularly on the Emerald

-bringing a personal DVD player mostly for my time in London.

    Thank YOU!

    -Jamie
