We were on the Magic in Jan, took our fan and had no problem.

We always cruise around our anniversary and my husband's birthday and never received anything special.

I print a hardcopy and take it with me to guest services.

Thank you for the awesome pictures and review!

We had booked Lifestyle Serenity but after reading new reviews we changed to La Casa, everything I read about La Casa was good.

We took the tour last year and was disappointed. We thought you would see the process but we were "told " the process and saw "pictures". The outside pavilion was nice though.
(We found a tour right outside the entrance to the ship)

Thanks everyone.

I’m going to St Thomas and San Juan next Sunday for business. We will be viewing San Juan damage from a helicopter and visiting the hospital in St Thomas. I’ll be happy to report back.

Hello Fellow Cruisers,
We will be cruising in January to Amber Cove, St Thomas, San Juan, Grand Turk and wondered how they are now that the hurricanes have been thru? I know cruise ships are going back to some of them now and if you have been in the last couple of weeks can you give us an idea of what to expect?
Thanks in advance!

Get an over the door shoe organizer(clear) and hang on bathroom door (outside) to help with (not much) counter space. Also magnetic hooks (large ones, the small ones don't support much weight).
Definitely air freshener.
Pack suitcases under the bed.
Don't overpack, there are laundry rooms and service onboard.
Have fun!

I suggest you go to your " cruise manager" and print them it will save you time at the port.

We were at Nachi Cocum in May 2017, ate and had sodas, no problem. I think there are jet skis for rent from an outside vendor. We had a great time.
-
We were instructed to take Sail n Sign card and PHOTO I'd with our 16 year old grandson.
-
Print e everything, better to have it and not need it than not have it and need it.
(Once my OBC was not showing up I showed them my printed copy and it was corrected immediately).
-
Bring a power strip (no surge protector) or extension cord.

I am VERY prone to motion sickness but I have found if I start taking Dramamine a few nights before we cruise I'm fine. (I use the less drowsy formula.)
-
Coke/Diet Coke etc in cans.
-
Used our points for OBC that can also be applied to gratuities.
-
We were informed Magic is not on this system yet.

All the suggestions above are good, I would add if you decide on a beach excursion do a private beach or an excursion thru the ship your first time. The public beaches can be worrisome with locals trying to sell you things. Never take anything to drink from anyone that is not sealed and you open it yourself in port.
Just chill and have a great time. There will be crowded areas but there are plenty of quite places too. Get a map of the ship from guest services and keep it with you, it's big help.
Have fun!

They have Coke products (12oz cans) they open and pour into a glass. (Or your PURCHASED mug/tumbler).
Sometimes the wait can be long at bars so just be patient.
Open Bar

We are going on our first (with) Norwegian cruise in a few weeks. Can we get some pointers and what is the "Open bar" about?
Thanks in advance!
