1. I received a response to my email to NCL . I previously had contact with NCL rep which was very helpful in changing us to a different cabin and upgrade from SD to SC.

Representative was very friendly and helpful . There was a price increase which I begrudgingly accepted because I felt we needed the bedroom . After a conversation with my husband he felt we should not be charged an additional charge because it was not our fault . I decided to email the rep back and voiced my concerns . They agreed to keep us in the upgraded cabin at the original price of our original cabin .

I feel like NCL did the right thing by us and I am very pleased with the assistance they provided .

Best if luck to everyone .

I hope everyone else can find a satisfactory solution to the deck 13 issues .

  2. I have pictures of cabin 13000 and 13002 that I received from NCL. I will try to share them here .

I'm having trouble uploading but cabin 13002 has a curtain that wraps around the king size bed . There is no bedroom . The Murphy bed in that cabin is right on the side of the king size bed .

Cabin 13000 does have an actual bedroom unlike 13002 that does not have an actual bedroom . NCL's description of 13002 says bedroom .

The balcony picture is of balcony for cabin 13500 I believe .

    This is 13000

  3. Do we know if anyone has sailed in any of the Deck 13 cabins yet? Would be nice to see some real comments and photos from people who have experienced the new cabins.

  4. I wrote to them on the 3rd still no response . I wrote to them again yesterday . I'm beginning to believe they will not respond .

Why post a link on here if no one is going to respond to the email from your clients NCL? In my opinion that further damages an already bad situation. I'm definitely getting the impression that NCL is not interested in our concerns regarding their mishandling of the suite/cabin issues .

Interested to see if anyone here has gotten a response from them .

  5. I have a quick question. We are sailing on POA in May of 2014 and I have heard that there are special menus for suite passengers to order meals from. Does anyone know where I might find these menus? I think it would be very convenient to order dinner to be served in our suite after a long day in port but I wasn't sure of the type or quality of these menus. This our first sailing with NCL and our first suite booking.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

  6. Good Afternoon,

We apologize for any confusion related to the new suites and stateroom descriptions on board Pride of America. In an effort to clarify the descriptions, we updated all of them on our site at: http://www.ncl.com/content/pride-america-suite-details.

For those currently booked, if you have any questions about your reservation or suite, please email: rdteam@ncl.com.

Thank you and have a great day,

Norwegian Cruise Line Public Relations Department

I have sent an email to the above listed email address and have received no response to my concerns.

I sincereley hope our emails do not go ignored. Awaiting a reply for NCL.

  7. Can you share the layouts you got? I have both 13002 and 13000 booked and I really want to see the layout of the room, and the balconies.

A curtain down the middle of the room on a room that sleeps 6 (and is described as two separate bedrooms) is just wrong. It seems to meet every definition of false or misleading advertising.

I was trying to figure out how to share those on here but couldn't figure it out. I can email them you you or if you could tell me how to post them I would be happy to share the information.

  8. I received an email from NCL this morning asking me to contact them about my reservation.

Well I contacted my agent that I booked with and she had no idea what the issue was so she put me through to the dept. that had contacted me.

Not only was my cabin no longer a 2 bedroom cabin . The 1 bedroom that they stated it now has is not what I would consider a bedroom at all. The king size bed is seperated from the rest of the cabin by a curtain! In my opinion a curtain divider does not a bedroom make.

I was very upset! after much discussion we were moved to Suite 13000 SC class. This suite I was assured does actually have walls and a door.

How can NCL call something a "bedroom" without a door?

I am sorry for anyone with a sailing soon because I have no idea how they will fix these issues with people on sold out ships.

  9. Not happy, but I just got a call from NCL, where she went over our class SD Suite ..you can tell that sh*t is hitting the fan.

We booked a year ago (end of October), their website then & still shows on our summary, a 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms and she is telling us that's NOT what we are getting with 13502...rather a 1 bedroom a living/dining room thing and 400+ square foot deck.

So now we have 4 adults...in... 1 king, a double murphy bed and double sleeper sofa. Not 2 bedrooms and only 1 bathroom. Told us the room I described is an SA class (owner's suite), not what we booked back a year ago - it's not what we paid for but we can upgrade for another $5000. :(

well guess what we do not have another $5000, and the "PICTURE" on our cruise summary still shows a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom family suite. ..yes I just looked. How can they SHOW one thing and what you get is so totally different, false advertising?

I too just for off the phone with NCL and we were booked in SD Suite 13002. We were informed that there is not actually a bedroom in this cabin . The bed is seperated from the rest of the cabin with a curtain!

After much complaining we were moved to cabin 13000 which actually does have a door on the bedroom.

Descriptions are very confusing and the pictures do not show the actual cabins. The rep I spoke to actually sent me the archetect layouts for both 13002 and 13000.

The website should be updated with accurate imformation.

I was sent an email to contact them. I guess the sh-t is hitting the fan and they are trying to put out the fires before the passengers find out the hard way on the day they board the ship.
