I have 2 casino offers booked.   One has free drinks in the casino,  my hubby also has that offer so will he also get free drinks in the casino ?

Go to oceanplayersclub, com and fill out the form Verify Casino Offer.  You will get a response in a few days.

I have gotten the shareholder OBC with a free casino cruise.  In fact just before COVID shut everything down I went on a 4 cruise B2B in Australia and received OBC for each.  I was denied once a couple of years ago but no problem since.  I hope it hasn't changed

Good to hear!  I have a Aug Caribbean cruise and hoping for the OBC.

I had the same issue and called. Because my wife got the offer too, they said she could get the free drinks as well.
I did have one question, can we get the free drinks at the casino bar or do we need to be playing at a machine or table?

    thanks in advance.

Depends on the bar staff.  I was on a Carnival casino cruise a couple years ago and asked one of the bartenders about getting drinks directly from them, and he said sure.  So I got them that way on that cruise.

I got that offer too. I just booked the 14 day out of New Orleans this November for $200 and got $200 OBC as I'm traveling by myself. Unfortunately I'm in an interior room. Now I'm going to buy 100 shares and apply for another $250 in OBC.

They typically do not give shareholder OBC on a free cruise.  At least that was the case before COVID.

I was told when booking that it could be used for the daily gratuities. It may be that there are "different kinds" of OBC and some can be used and some can not. Perhaps since we pay the $200 it is our money and not money given to us by the cruise line. Who knows. Will find out when I'm back onboard I guess.

Good point - It is our money! 😍

I thought you got the $200 back as OBC??  We did, so it really does not count as a cost IMO.

Yes you do get it back.  I just wanted to let folks know that the upcharge is out of pocket but the additional $200 also has to be paid at the time of booking.  I don’t mind the $200 at all since it does come back as OBC.  I did read somewhere that OBC cannot be used for the daily gratuities, but I’m not sure about that.  Maybe someone else can answer that.

  7. I have received the free inside several times and I am not a big gambler - maybe $200 or $250 on a 7-night cruise.  I just booked a free inside for Feb 2022.  One way they get you is the upcharge for a higher category cabin.  My offer came with a $299 upcharge for an oceanview and a $499 upcharge for veranda.  And that is not counting the $200 per person required for booking the cruise, along with taxes and port fees.  One thing they offer that I feel is worth getting is their Platinum Cancellation Plan.  We paid $99 each for that, and it includes Cancel for any reason (90% back), along with $500 trip delay, $10,000 medical, and $50,000 emergency evacuation.  Other cruise lines charge a lot more than that.  I had a similar cruise booked for March of this year, and that was obviously cancelled.

This is exactly what we have to do.  If we just click on the email without being signed in first, it doesn't work.  And if I just sign in to the website without using the link in the email, it doesn't work that way either.  But if I go to the website and sign in first, then go to the email and click the link, it opens a new tab with me already signed in and that will allow me to search for cruises with the casino rate.

Interestingly, the email link I had been using just stopped working this morning.  It was supposed to expire on March 2, but it was still working and applying the discount up until today.

The casino offers that were to expire on March 2 were extended to March 31 along with the BSE promotion being extended.  Some of us were notified about the extended casino offer by email (my husband) and others were not (me and many others).  But I believe anyone that had the previous offer now has the extended offer.

Last cruise I was on there was no band at the sail away party and no band at the pool in the afternoon.  Is this a trend on all cruise lines?

Not at all!  Norwegian, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean have live bands throughout the cruise.  And there are probably many more.  Princess is now lacking with that, sadly.

  10. I assume you meant Sky Princess?  I have been in forward balconies on the Royal and the balcony doors were never locked even though the website indicated they would be.  And amazingly, the wind wasn’t that bad in the Caribbean anyway.  My balcony was very large - I loved it!

Yes, I have done that and the only free cash offer showing is the one I already used.  That should be correct.  However, when I talked to the Princess agent in the support group he mentioned several other free play offers I have that I do not see in my account.  They are for cruises in 2021 that I don't intend to book anyway, so that are of no concern.  It sounds like not all offers make it to my account.  I think I will just give up.

Well if the offer involves free play, they only appear on your account while the offer is valid.  Once the booking time expires, it it will no longer be listed when you check your onboard credits.  And you will not always get an email or reg mailing with the offer specifics.  They like to keep us guessing!  I make a point of looking at my account very frequently.

I called back and spoke to a guy who said I had a bunch of casino offers listed for casino cash in the past.  Too bad I did not know. He also had my $300 offer which I booked on the 10/22 cruise.  He said the BSE is not necessary.  I do not have it on that cruise.  What I don't understand is that the 12/16 offer and the 12/28 offer have different promotion numbers.  That makes me think I have 2 $300  offers, but he said he only could see one offer to be used one time.  I am really grateful to have that offer but did not want to leave one sitting there expiring if I really did have 2 promotions and 2 offers.

You can always check your account on Princess to see what free play offers are active.  Just log in, go to My Account and click on Future Cruise Credits.  Then click on Onboard Credits.  The next screen indicates any free play offers that are available to you.  It also indicates the expiration date for booking a cruise that the free play can be applied to.  Hope this helps!

We received the VIP offer by mail, and while I was tempted to book it I'm glad I waited.  Our latest offer was for balcony, FP $$$, and the Best Sale Ever promo.  So we booked a B2B Cabo and Hawaii, the FP was applied to the longer Hawaii cruise and we are so excited to go.

We can still book one more cruise under this promo and are considering the 20 night Enchantment Caribbean cruise in 2022.

Hoping to get the vaccine by summer at the latest so we are cleared to go!!

Question - Did you receive the BSE perks free with your offer, or was there the typical up charge of $40 per person per day?

Sorry, but anyone who booked with any kind of casino offer is not eligible for this offer. I was going to take this offer until I read the fine print that says since I booked with a casino offer I am not eligible.

Carnival corporation has some huge financial assets so I am not worried about them going bankrupt.

Mine was definitely a casino offer from Holland.  Received email a couple weeks ago for a free inside cabin on select cruises, along with free play and drinks in casino.  I booked a cruise for March 2021.  Then late last week I got  the email asking for more money on my casino booking. They will not offer this if cruise has been paid in full.  They are getting desperate for money to stay afloat!

    I have a question...

Does any of the people receiving these casino promo's have pending FCC's from canceled cruises,  and if so can you apply your FCC's or are these Promo's targeted specifically at "fresh money" bookings only ?

    Just curious

    Srpilo

Good question.  I didn’t have any FCCs.  Mine was a casino offer for a free inside, but by the time you upgrade to upgrade to a balcony, pay taxes and port fees, along with $200 per person deposit, it ends up being anything but free.  They are doing this to get money up front so they can stay afloat (pun intended!).

I have used these offers before. The 199.00 upgrade charge are for the obstructed balcony cabins with the lifeboats, which is better than an inside cabin so we took it and I got to pick which cabin I wanted.

Not in this case.  The cheapest upcharge for any balcony was $599 per person with an 11-night Caribbean cruise.  Now the amt may be tied to your past gambling record, and I am not a big gambler.  We did switch to a 7-night and the upcharge for a balcony was $399 which we took.
