  1. I keep one but only use it on Fathers day. If tradition holds, on Fathers day they will offer a 10% off on all Carnival gift cards and if you have a Carnival credit card you get an additional 10%. I max that thing out (only $2,000 limit) and get $400 of free money.

Where did u see the extra 10% offer for carnival card holders? I have researched and can only find 10% not the 20% that you are talking about

  2. We sailed on the Valor 2nd week of December, and ate in the steakhouse on the 3rd night, and it was so good, that we ate again on the 5th night. Between the 4 of us, we had the filet, the cowboy, the surf and turf and the strip, all were very good. The service on the 2nd trip was better than the 1st.

  3. My wife and I both use CPAPs, and often there is not an outlet on both sides of the bed for our CPAPs, so we always pack an extension cord. Since this is a medical device, and I keep it with the CPAP, do I need to worry about it being confiscated? Normally power strip have only a 3' or 6' cord so they are not suitable for the CPAP. Is there anything I can do in advance to avoid this issue?

I also use a cpap machine and have brought an extension cord packed with my machine on more than 10 cruises, and never had an issue.

In Coz, we did the AI at Mr Sanchos...I wouldnt do it again, because if you cant catch a buzz after 13 drinks , may as well stop trying--the food buffet was decent, and the service was exceptional--Elvis/Edgar were there anytime we needed something....Last time we went to Paradise beach, and will most likely do so again next time, as when we did so, we did the pay as you go for food and drinks, and we spent less and the drinks were better.

    Happy Sails!

Curious as to what you were drinking ? We have been to Sanchos several times and thought the drinks were pretty good

  5. I believe if you get to 1500 points in a year you get the free drinks in the casino and if you take another carnival cruise within 12 months it carries over, if you don't sail within 12 months it may start over. I cannot answer this exactly for sure because we cruise a few times a year maybe somebody else can give you the definite answer.

Never heard of this, my wife almost always gets the drinks on us card and we took 4 cruises last year and she had to earn it every cruise

  6. The Tervis Tumbler are only available on ships that have Red Frog Rum Bar and Blue Iguana Tequila Bar.

On Breeze back in October, they were $9 and change + tax and gratuity without the lid and $14 and change + tax and gratuity with the lid.

They are for sale in the fun shop

  7. Just look at the crowds and u can see the one that is more popular, lots of seats at the family shows and almost every adult show is standing room only. I'm sure the waiters and bar staff really enjoy serving all those sodas to kids on the soda program instead of adults buying drinks and tipping them.
