On Valor last month and it was posted from 1-3pm. Wanted a table for 2 but by the time we got their at 230pm, none left but they took our name, etc. Next PM found a note in the mailbox that they had a table for us. Yeh!

On the Valor last month and they sent us on our way in groups after the drill, so no crowding and everyone waited for their group to be dismissed.

Well I would think you wouldn't want to wait.

We will be on the last cruise before then, so if you can wait that long maybe I can find out.

Just off the Valor on 1-27. Had Ba on the last night. They made a production out of it with lights dimmed and all waiters carrying in lit BA's. Everyone got a piece.Yummy.

Got off on Saturday, 1-27. Adults only in Serenity area hot tubs. Did not see any kids in aft pool but I was on Serenity deck and only grabbed a pizza once.

In flipping the channels I did see a couple of cartoons, but really didn't turn it on to watch.

Off the Valor yesterday. Loved the mac and cheese, chocolate extravaganza, strawberry bisque soup, turkey wraps, banana bread and hot chocolate, pina colada and apple juice. Didn't try anything exotic, hubby loved the flat iron steak.

Left Monday Jan 22. Weather forecast beginning Jan 15 thru 22 showed Cozumel and Progeso with 80 degrees but not just cloudy but thunderstorms for a solid 2 weeks. Forecast on Jan 22 for the week, the same, 80s but thunderstorms all week. So I prepped for rain.

Weather Jan 22-26 weather in the 80s and sunny. Jan 27 as we arrived in port, fog closed the port for awhile and pouring rain in the area.

Saying that, outside the ship in the sun was fine but inside the ship is always cold. So in December you will hopefully have weather like we did, nice outside but very cold inside.

Docked this morning. Port closed due to fog. Instead of leaving the ship beginning at 815, left at 10am, Pax were frantic about missing their flights but nothing anyone could due about the fog and the fact that ship must be cleared before pax could be left off. This is why Carnival recommends no flights before 130pm.

Leaving on Monday, so thanks for the info. Don't expect sun, actually expect bad weather, so instead of bring shorts, bringing sweats. How's the library--this is usually my first stop? Do you know checkout procedure--grab and go, check out sheet or staffed?

I agree. We are on MOS at the end of August and can't figure out if I have to book a tour as a requirement or not?

We're big on cemeteries and Cozumel has an interesting one although maybe to close for comfort for your inlaws.

My question is, since it has been a month since OP, does he still want it, need it as we are all offering? We are on her the 22nd.

Well we had certain criteria for the Cuba cruise and MOS hit it. So we booked for August. I spoke with the RCCL agent and she said they had no information on specifically what changes were going to be made. That's what she said!

I thought I read she was refurbished in April 2016. Refurbished, drydock? Also wanting to take a cruise in August but comments about condition of some rooms, as they are so small, are putting us off.

There is a chocolate shop Isla Bella Chocolates and there is also a chocolate factory that does tours. Just google chocolate in Cozumel and it should pop up.

We also visited the cemetery (as we do in almost every city) and that was pretty interesting. It is on the very edge of town, closer to the Carnival pier than town.

Central Market is an interesting experience as well.

Do they sell them onboard? We will be on the ship at the end of January if they do and I would be glad to get one for you. Jonestown Texas cruiser.

I went through a TA to book a 1-22-18 cruise and site stated I could only get info from Carnival after I paid the final payment. So could not get checkin time until then.
