The actual cabin space is the same for all, the difference is that the balcony cabin has a small balcony space. however there are not that many times that this can be used. if your are moored alongside another boat there is no view and no privacy i am perfectly happy on lower deck with high window, but you cant open it obviusly so you may prefer the french balcony
