    Here's the question:

Are they really concerned about the enviorment, or is this a revenue move?

It just seems like they found another way to make some money. I can see some people saying "it's just trieing to please people", but not sure i buy that one

John did say that the paper straws will still be on the ship

    Hi

    What exactly is the question?

If you wish to cancel and you did get a credit for your deposit, you would need to use it within 24 months. That is specifically if you booked with a "booking rate" that allows for a refund of your deposit. Your TA would be aware of that and hopefully would have told you. Also, some TA's charge a cancellation fee, hopefully they would have told you that as well, if it was the case. You should call them and they will tell you your options. Perhaps wait a bit in case the situation changes again.

Ty you did answer the question, I hv a call into him but he said I could the credit any time 🤨, ty for taking the time to answer

  3. I have a quick question. I booked two cove cabins for Dec. 2020. one for me and one for three friends. I booked thru a TA and was warned I could get no refund if I canceled.,I just put deposit down. He said I would only get a credit towards another cruise on carnival. Does any one know how that works. Neither of us can go at this point. Also the cabin with three in it, it doesnt have my name on it all tho I paid the deposits on both. Thanks for all the help.

anything but the shuttles, a real P.I.A. You have to wait until the entire bus fills before your depart. You are going to stop at every terminal, hope yours isn't last. We are huge fans of Uber/Lyft, no waiting and a fair price

Thank you for your honesty lol I think I just might pass and do the uber. Happy cruising

  5. Hi we are flying to Long Beach for the Carnival Panorama cruise in Feb. We are thinking about taking the shuttle to LAX to fly home. Has anyone use the shuttle and can you let me know how I get sign up on them and what the cost. Any tips in this area also. Ty for all comments

  6. we will be on the Carnival Splendor in 14 days.We are looking to spend the day at the Breathless hotel in Cabo San Lucas for the day. I see it is all inclusive for 84.00. Has any one been there and what are your thoughts. We just want to relax and enjoy. Can we book it when we get on the ship? Thank for all the help

  7. I use it every time and no problems. I was told that they put all your stuff in a bag and wash it that way,,in hot water and was told not to put things with colors that run. Not sure how many bags we get free,, just ask but roll your cloths up and cram them in there even if the bag tears a little. you will get them back the same day washed and folded very nice. Dont forget to mark the paper as to how many things in the bag. Any questions just your cabin stewart. Have fun on your cruise

  8. Im getting on the Carnival Splendor Feb.2 and I have two questions. Do they still have the talent show for cruisers to try out for and do they have real karaoke or is it the new lip sync. Thank you for your help

  9. I booked a cabin and paid for four of us on a seven day cruise. All in same cabin. I am platinum. My question is, since I booked and paid for it all and they are not platinum, can they board early with me and if one shows up later than we get on can they go on early or do they need to wait for their check in time. Thank you for any help you can give

  10. They wouldn’t even let my mom into the Priority waiting area in Miami with FTTF. How did your friends get in?

This was at long beach before they remodeled it ,,, we just went up and acted like they were in our rooms. They didnt look at anything like room numbers just looked at information and off we went. I think we were lucky but we are going to try again as we are taking a couple that has never cruised before and if it works its ok, if not we will wait to board with them.

  11. It looks like everyone gets to choose their own dessert with a shared surprise at the end:

, that was amazing to see. TY for shareing that with us. My husband has stage 4 cancer and we have cruised carnival for many years and this cruise was a life gift from his cousin and 17 of his friends are joining us on it and this will be a exciting dinner to have this presented .

    ty again :*

  12. Haas anyone had the Art at the table, desert in the steak house yet. Is it for two people or does the whole table have to have it instead of their own desert. Saw it on Johns page and it looks really fun. Going on Miracle in Jan and would like to try it. ty for all replys and pic too.

  13. You would probably get more definitive answers on the Mexican Riviera board: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=203

To confirm though, we are on a 7 day and it will be offered. That said, you depart the harbor and arrive around 5:00 or so. The ship will depart at 8 and our sunset isn't scheduled until 8:30.:o So I am not sure how "night" it will be for you, but we ruled it out as we thought it would lose it's ambiance. I would definitely check on your ship's departure time vs show time and the sunset estimated time.

Thank you Wagges for the info. Guess they have changed things. Looks like it s go here any way, its a great show , might be able to shop in the small store there. TY again

  14. Quick question. I have been to the Rhythm of nites on a 6 day cruise but not on a seven day as they told me on ship they are not in port long enough on the 7 day one. A friend justgot a conformation on his booking that excursion on our up coming 7 day cruise.Have they changed things so we can go to RON on 7 now? Thank you for any info:D
