Here is what was sent to me from Azamara:
We have been advised that Quest will be docking at the YAMA****A PIER, which is in Yokohama, Japan on April 27, 2019, due to port congestion. The YAMA****A PIER is approximately 40 minutes from Oi Marine in Tokyo, the original requested pier location.

We are also on the Japan Intensive cruise, and I am also looking forward to our first Azamara cruise.
-
Thank you very much for a wonderful review. Looking forward for our first Azamara experience.
-
Ours will not be until 2019, and I booked the tours available since I am worried I won't find one later on.
-
Thank you for your response.
Our trip is actually on April 27, 2019.

We are currently booked with Japan Intensive Itinerary for April 27, 2017, and our suite comes with Cruise Global, Meet Local Tour or Global, Nights Local Shore Excursions.
1. What is the difference between the two?
2. How do you book them?
3. Are you given options for each?
Thank you.

We are new to Azamara, and we are booked for the Japan Intensive itinerary on April 27, 2019.
Has anyone traveled to Japan with Azamara? How are the shore excursions?
Thank you.

We are planning to book the Tokyo to Tokyo cruise in 2019, and we have some questions about the excursions offered by Regent.
1. Are there a lot choices for the free excursions in each port?
2. Are there additional excursions that are not free that they offer?
3. How good are the excursions?
4. What are your experiences with Regent's excursions?
Thank you in advance.

We have recently sailed with Harmony of the Seas from December 10 to December 17, 2017 - Eastern Caribbean, and I would like to share with all of you our experiences and point of view.
Embarkation:
We were scheduled to embark from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. We were at port by 11:15 a.m., and by this time, there were hundreds of people already. Processing was smooth, and we were given our call number before proceeding to the holding area. Our number was 40. By the time they opened the gate and called our number, it was already 12:45 p.m. when we reached the gateway. Anyone who needs to add or make changes to their specialty dining or Anytime Dining will need to proceed to Deck 5 at the Silk Restaurant entrance.
The Windjammer Market Place was a mess. There were long lines and no seating available by 1:00 p.m. Plates and utensils were hard to find. I advised everyone to have a good lunch before embarkation.
Stateroom:
My family and I booked 5 Central Park View Rooms with Balcony. There are a lot of storage in the room so you will have enough space for all your belongings. Bring your own shampoo. They will only provide shampoo to suites, and since we were not in a suite we end up with one small bar of soap and liquid soap dispenser in the shower. Balconies can be opened if your family member is right next to you.
Main Dining Room:
The decor and service was great. The food was hit and miss. Nothing to rave about.
Royal iQ App:
The app was great to check your calendar, statement, and ship compass, but it was hard to make reservation for any dining or shows if you have multi-rooms to book since you have to enter each room and last name of the party in order to book for your entire family. It was quite frustrating sometimes especially if you are looking for available time which will not allow you to do so until you have entered each room number and last name.
Shows with Reservation:
We saw Fine Line, Headline Show, and Grease. The best show among the three was Grease. Don't miss it. If you have Fine Line reservation and the show was cancelled, they will reschedule them for you. Hopefully, you will not have any other conflict.
Specialty Dining:
We dined at Jamie's Italian, Wonderland, and 150 Central Park for dinner and Sabor for lunch. My family and I enjoyed Wonderland best, but you will not regret dining to the other three specialty restaurants. However, I recommend to make the reservation prior to embarkation since finding the right time for dining is hard to get. If one of your family is vegan, any of the mentioned specialty dining restaurants can accommodate your party.
Deluxe Beverage Package:
Do not be alarmed if your SeaPass reads premium and not deluxe. They are the same thing per Guest Services which created so much confusion to us and their other staff since no one seems to know that they were the same.
Disembarkation:
We decided to disembark with our luggages since we have an earlier flight. We in line by 6:00 a.m., and the gate opened at 6:05 a.m., and we were out by 6:20 a.m.
Overall, the ship was beautiful, but you will need a lot of patience since I am not sure they anticipate that the amount of people with this size require additional space for dining, shows, and entertainment.

We are booked for April 2018 Japan Cruise. Does any know if Celebrity has cancelled any April Japan Cruises?
Thank you.
-
Since there will be 3 adults on our party, I am inclined to book the Royal Suite in our future cruise with Celebrity. I have researched the cost if we book two rooms or one room with other lines. But in the end I found Celebrity to be much better for us.
-
I booked the Sydney 2018 New Year, but if the new Celebrity ship comes with a much better itinerary I might change it.
-
How soon can you book the shore excursion? It has been awhile since I was in a cruise.
Thank you again.

Does anyone know if they have the Edinburgh Military Tattoo every year? if they do, was the itinerary the same each year?
We are planning to go on 2017, and I am hoping that they are offering this trip with the same itinerary of 2016.
Thank you.

You may need to check the price of the Royal Suite since this comes with additional amenities. More expensive than Celebrity Suite, but you may come up even if you add all the extras that comes with it.
-
Thank you very much for the information.
We are interested in booking the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2017. Hopefully, this will be included in 2017.

I actually did a comparison price-wise between Oceania and Princess with our cruise next year.
When I chose a suite in Princess and include the business class airfare, Princess will costs us closer to the amount we are going to pay in Oceania.
-
Can you get the OLife Promo even though have book your cruise already? Or do they have to cancel your current reservation and rebook to OLife? I just don't want to lose the cabins we book.
Thanks.

For our cruise next year, we were able to book our shore excursions.
We are concerned with one of them which is in Dublin since the description of the tour said, 'should be able to walk for 3 hours.'
I assume that the 3 hours includes some standing and not continuous walk. Our Mom will be with us on this tour, and she will be 75 during our cruise. She does not any mobility issues.
Can someone give us some insight when the tour says, 'should be able to walk 3 hours.'
Thank you.

We noticed that Oceania is offering the Giant Causeway Tour iin Londonderry (Greencastle) and in Belfast. Can someone tell us which port is better to see the Giant Causeway?
Thank you.

I am glad we decided to get the August cruise from Oceania rather than the June and September even though the June and September has one extra port and the ports listed seems to be much better than the August cruise.
-
Thank you very much for all your responses.
I calculated the costs with 'your world' and the potential excursions we will take in our cruise and there is a significant savings if we choose several excursions from Oceania.
Had anyone used the Oceania 'exclusive collection'? Do we tell them where to go once we meet them on the port? For museums, does the guide goes with you and help you purchase the tickets?
