  1. If they unable to fix the air conditioning after so long, what makes you think that they will be able to fix a problem with the engines when you are hundreds of miles away from land? Cancel now!

I'm not entirely convinced that the fix is a matter of malfunction rather than that of an overzelous bean counter. If it is the latter, it is an at will fix which can take place immediately.

  2. Ha! Reading this review reminded me of a couple with whom I've sailed in the past aboard the Conquest in 2013. Lo and behold...IT'S YOU hahaha! your past review of the Conquest was great and helped us prepare for the 2013 cruise. This review doesn't disappoint ;).

It's nice to see pictures of you guys again as I'm living out my vacation vicariously through you guys. I'll be on the Dream on April 26th. Thanks again!

  3. Wow! I thought my experience was bad on my last cruise but it pales in comparison to some of you guy's experiences.

I guess my problem is that I always compare my latest cruise to my best cruise. Unfortunately, there seems to be a downward trend with each successive cruise. The quality of the food and waiting has been declining. It has gotten so that I've begun to build up an expectation of disappointment as a defense mechanism so that I won't be disappointed and I can enjoy even the not so good moments.

The worst was on the Conquest when our neighbors decided to have very loud and dramatic sex in the middle of the night. The disgusting sounds woke my wife which woke me only to listen to this for the duration. When my wife isn't happy, I'm not happy.

I could not believe someone would be so rude and inconsiderate of others! I can't blame Carnival for that but it'd be nice if the rooms were built with studio level sound deadening insulation.
