  2. I heard from Fontene with Vantage yesterday. She was very professional and booked our airfare including our specific requests right while I was on the phone with her. I checked everything with the airlines immediately after ending the call and everything was perfect. I am hopeful that our Beauty of the British Isles will go as scheduled in August. is there anyone else out there booked on that cruise?

  6. The Boston Globe has updates on the Ocean Explorer getting diverted. I can't read the entire article. Can anyone out there read it?
  7. On social media there is a lot of chatter about land excursions being cancelled from passengers currently on Ocean Explorer. If you are leaving on that ship today, please consider posting updates here about your experiences onboard. Many of us are still in a quandary about our future trips. We appreciate your help.
  8. In regards to the situation of construction, I did a little digging. I found another business at 90 Canal Street and called them. The building is actually a series of small offices/cubicles. Many businesses just use this as a location to pick up mail. According to the source I spoke to there was no construction outside the building. So being an optimist, I am thinking post-COVID many businesses went to this model and people work from home or another location. So perhaps there was construction and they at first thought that was the problem. Then they discovered the security breach. I remain hopeful. We are on the Beauty of the British Isles leaving August 2 for the pre-trip extension to Edinburgh. Anyone else going on that one? To all out there, please let us know when you are ticketed on the airlines and receive documents on cruises that are sooner.

  13. What ship are you supposed to be on? I'm trying to locate Vantage ships on cruisemapper.com. Some are showing up on the maps and are moving.
  14. I just tried calling two other businesses that share the same building as Vantage in Boston. Their phones are operational. Vantage Travel if you are monitoring these posts, please respond.
  15. It is weird that both flights to Naples and Madrid on May 12th were cancelled. Please let us know if and when you hear anything. Thanks
  16. We thought about that trip but we are scheduled for Beauty of the British Isles. We had it planned Pre-COVID. It's been a long haul.

  18. Fieldagent, let me get this correct, please. Your air arrangements for May 12, 2023 have been cancelled? What trip did you did you plan with Vantage? My air arrangements are still showing up on the "my trips" part of the airline website for an August trip. Ocean Odyssey and Ocean Explorer are still moving on cruisemapper.com Jazzbeau, sorry about mentioning a specific company. I didn't know that was not acceptable.
  19. I'm not sure what steps to take next. I'm going to reach out to the Massachusetts AG and Allianz. I bought a separate insurance policy NOT through Vantage. This is so sad.
  20. I finally heard from them after I engaged my credit card company and emailed that I am cancelling because I believe they are out of business. They replied in less than an hour and denied that they are out of business. I told them I cannot read the cancellation policy because the website is down. They said they will send the cancellation policy when they are operational.
  21. I've invested so much money on my next trip and this is going badly. I loved previous trips with Vantage. I'm losing faith.
  22. I don't know much about tech, but they were able to send me an email, but no phone call or website. That's beyond my pay grade.
