  1. Another question I just thought about regarding On Board Account.

If I wanted to purchase Cruise Cash, but 4 people in my cabin all with individual on board accounts, is there a way to apply it to a single person's account or will it go just to mine?

  2. I just leave the credit card and then during the cruise I pay cash on my card as needed and they only charge the card what I haven't paid them cash for.

I never even thought of this. Can I just apply the cash to account at GS or would the kiosk be easier?

Also, I know for a 6 day cruise the initial hold is $200, once I get close to that $200 they will put another hold of $200? Does anyone know how exactly it works?

  3. Just a quick question.

During the online check in I put down a credit card. I may want to switch it to cash so I do not have to worry about the holds. My question is can I put cash and then during embarkation or at guest services later switch over to a credit card? And how long do I have to decide? My cruise leaves Dec 13, it all needs to completed by 2-3 days before?

  4. Chank is about a $10-12 cab ride, comes with a $20/per person admission fee, a small beach, small snorkel lagoon, animal shows etc. Good option for those travelling with kids.

Cab fare to Paradise Beach, Mr. Sanchos, Nachi and many other popular beach clubs will run about $17 each way. As mentioned above, PB is pay-as-you-go, offers good facilities, food, drinks, service and a huge pool plus the beach and water toys. $3 admission and $15 extra for water toys.

Sanchos offers both AI and pay-as-you-go sides, no admission fee (AI is about $50) plus $15 for water toys. Good facilities, multiple pools, nice beach.

Nachi is small, limited to 100 guests per day, AI only ($55) and offers no water toys. Great food, no crowds, relaxed, great service, etc.

Money Bar is another option - great snorkeling from the shore, good facilities/lockers, rental gear if you need it, good food/drinks/service, and no admission fee. No beach but there is a sandy area for sunning and relaxing and nice views of the shore/ocean.

It sort of depends upon who is in your group and what you want to do.

THANK YOU! this is exactly what I needed.

  5. Mr. Sanchos, Paradise Beach, or Chankanaab?

So confused as I usually just walked around near pier or went downtown to walk down there. Want to try one of these out but need the help of my cruise critic members. Any advice or experiences? Really want a place to drink, eat, relax. Do not necessarily need a beach or water activities but would be nice to maybe have.

  6. We just got off 6 day Breeze last week. I have the fun times, but I am missing 1, possibly 2. Let me know if you still want them. I can scan and email them to you.

Would love to see them! Email is eric.steinberg91 gmail

Do you have the grand cayman tender day? We don't have FTTF but want to get off ship as early as possible as we booked Aquarius tours and they meet at cruise terminal at around 8:15-8:30

  7. I have been deciding between gopro 4 silver and gopro 3+ silver

I like that the 4 has screen display and bluetooth. The price of the 3 is more affordable but the 4 wouldnt break the bank. I do want to get into making personal videos, pictures, etc to capture the memories of vacations, events, etc.

Once I buy it within the next couple weeks i am going to have alot of learning to do before my cruise on dec 13

  8. Quick question... If I have a GoPro on the ship, can I use Bluetooth to connect the camera to my phone to edit while on ship or will that cost me money, as in roaming fees etc?

Anyone have opinions or experience with GoPro cameras on cruises will be appreciate. Love to hear stories about it, or see videos! This will be my first GoPro camera.

  9. I was just looking forward to getting off the ship and into Falmouth port area. Didn't want to have to take a cab or walk around an unsafe area. There isn't really any place to just walk around that's safe off the ship right?

  10. Just received an email from Carnival that we are going to Montego Bay instead of Falmouth. Not too happy as I like Falmouth cause you can atleast get off the ship and go to margaritaville and enjoy some of the shops. Any advice for Montego Bay? I assume if you aren't doing an excursion getting off the ship isn't the best idea in Jamaica.

  11. Going on Breeze in 40 days and just trying to figure out budgeting for drinks on ship. I see the menus Carnival has on their site but it doesn't have prices. Does anyone have pictures of the prices or any advice? Not looking to break the bank but want to have a good time.

  12. I just kind of want to confirm with the people of cruise critic.

This is my first time booking with Early Saver. I just want to confirm that I cannot price match with More = Merrier promotion, since I do have 4 in my stateroom. I did a mock booking and that promotion is $160-$180 (cannot remember how much exactly) is the difference. I assumed I cannot price match since it does not let me pick my stateroom for that, correct? Has anyone actually seen a significant decrease from what you paid on early saver. I feel the more = merrier promotion keeps going down but picking your own stateroom doesn't

  13. I am just curious as to when you can begin tendering at Grand Cayman on Breeze's 6 Day Itinerary. It says that you arrive at 7:00 AM but not sure if that means you will start tendering at 7:00 AM or they start dropping anchor and you start around 7:30 AM or even 8:00 AM?

I have booked a private excursion with Acquarius and they said they meet at 8:15 AM in the port area. Anyone maybe have an experience with this? I am trying to get FTTF for this reason, along with early embarkation and room being ready, but if I do not get FTTF do you think I have a chance of making that meeting time?

  14. I will be sailing on Carnival Breeze in December. According to the cruise director/Entertainment Director on John's Blog we will have Wee Jimmy as CD and Brent Michel as Entertainment Director. Anyone sailed with them before and can offer some insight into how they are? Anyone know if the current staff on board the Breeze today will be there in December. I like to have a very fun, friendly, outgoing, and crazy staff to make the cruise enjoyable.
