haha I agree. Our first cruise in about a month, sure looking forward to relaxing in the dark hovel area, and everything else the Summit has to offer. :D Cheers![/quote
We are May 14.

WOW!
Just found out I like dark hovels. Will talk to my shrink about this and also my suite addiction.
-
The ship and the food are both superior to RCCL.
-
We love Blu! It is the main reason we cruise Celebrity. Blu plus the beverage package approximates the experience on a luxury line but at a much lower cost. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Our thoughts exactly.
Great experience.

I'm sure the dog will find a good use for this post.:D

We used to do suites only on RCCL but find Celebrity aqua class superior.
Doing our first suite on Celebrity in May.
-
Yes, and plenty of it.

Just thinking. Leaving tomorrow on a three week Carnival cruise. Would trade it for one week on Oceania.
-
No way to compare. Oceania is the greatest and is not at all formal.l. Just a different clientele.
-
Anyone on here from the Rock Hall - Chestertown, MD area group?.
-
Celebrities sometimes are onboard because they are promoting something or giving a seminar.
The really rich and famous charter a yacht or have their own.
-
Aqua class is the best deal in cruising. We do suites on other lines but aqua class on Celebrity.
-
Glad to see that others beside myself that think the loyalty programs are almost worthless.
We cruised all the lines and are top tier on only one and that is Cunard. We have cruised on them only one time and never will again. This shows what convoluted thinking they do in establishing someones status.
-
We often cruise Celebrity but love the R class ships.
Oceania wins by a mile.:D

Don't understand this because we have shore excursions from Honnigsvag to the North Cape and Azamara Quest then cruises past the North Cape at midnight before heading South.
Was only suggesting that they continue north for another day or so to Spitzbergen. Very interesting and seldom visited.
-
If you want to do the North Cape, I would recommend that you do a cruise that continues on north to Spitzbergen. This was on of our best cruises.
I know HAL does it but there are others.

Yes, 3 weeks Baltimore to San Juan and back to Baltimore.:D

We will be spending 3 weeks in 7193 next January. Take care of it.:D

I bet you can tell me why my house has a dining room but ships have a dinning room.

RCCL has recently said that they will announce "enhancments to the suite experience" this spring.
As one who always books suites I am looking forward to this. I know that the price will increase to reflect the changes. If someone is not using suites why would they care that suites are being upgraded?
-
No shrimp cocktail! I may have to quit cruising. Where else could you get it? Certainly not at home.:p
-
We will be in 8514 tomorrow. We are always on the 8th deck and noise from above is minimal. Occasionaly hear rearranging of chairs in the morning but it is no problem.
-
The upgraded buffet alone makes it a good deal. No crowds makes it even better.
-
Carnival is a larger room. No perks unless early boarding is perk. Not worth the price.
We do suites only on RCCL and balconies on Carnival.

I find that when I am on Cruise Critic I tip very generously.
When I am on a ship not so much.;)
