Kind of like the blimp they tested on Oasis. It didn't end well. 😱
I did notice the ugly rock wall us still there. What a shame.

I'm on her on 50 days. Were changes updated to the decor in the rooms? I have an interior (because I'm have kids, so I'm poor). I'd be thrilled if they decided to add Virtual Balconies, but I'm guessing they probably didn't.

I was hoping for the Ultimate Abyss, maybe a Flowrider, a zipline, bumber cars or iFly during dry dock. Now I have no idea where they would put any of these items, but it'd make Majesty pretty cool. And it's not my job to figure out where they would go.
I guess maybe we can just settle for parasailing off the back.
(For those in CruiseCritic that miss sarcasm, this post is full of it. I realize there is no possiblity for these items on Majesty, well except the parasailing, that'd be something I'd be interested in them investigating.)

It's currently showing a destination of Canaveral tomorrow at 8:00 am.

Shareholders for these publicly traded companies are more focused on making money than delivering something special.
Evil shareholders... I know on a daily basis at my job I think, thank goodness I'm not making more money, just as long as I'm delivering something special.
They are delivering something special, it just may not included everything you would like. But such is a free market. If enough people stop cruising, then the something specials will come back. As mentioned there are other (smaller) lines that deliver "something special", but I also believe they are catering to a different demographic. They also have shareholders to account to. That's why they are priced more for their extras.

Ahhh this is the Cruise Critic I know and love. If only we could have a chair hog, and tipping argument added to this....

Are you free at the end of April?;p

I'm far from a kid. I'm 38. My wife loves cruises because I'm forced off the grid and won't deal with work. (Although, I do go sneak up to the library to get on the internet and check my work email, because I just need to know what's happening while I'm gone).
I agree that Snapchat is a problem with the youth and that this really isn't a huge deal, I really just posted for some laughs.... although that airplane mode snapping thing is a really good idea and I might have to try it out on land.
And I can't let someone take over my streaks. Haven't you seen the news about what Snapchat is used for? (I don't use it for that, again, going for the jokes)
-
Ok, maybe the title was a bit dramatic, but I'm on a current streak (I've sent someone a Snapchat every day)that will hit a year about the time I go on my cruise. I'm debating on if I should get the Voom package or not. I mean is $100 worth all the Snapchats I'll get? Does Majesty Of The Seas even have real internet, or is it just a long phone cable that runs behind the boat from Port Canaveral.
(This post is more of a vent/silly post, going for the giggles here. I do love Cruise Critic, and sometimes it just needs a little lightening up.)

Poor girl. Where was it posted, on the in room TV? If so that is horrible. I know they do like showing wipeouts, and during the quick editing someone may have missed she lost her suit. Just an FYI. The cruise contract you sign (and usually any contract has verbiage like this) allows them to take pictures and use them anywhere they see fit.

Someone on our Roll Call (Oct 16, Freedom) asked RCI, and they responded with Royal Caribbean International said,
" Hi, Richard. CocoCay sustained minor damages.
We'll be welcoming guests back on Saturday, October 15th."

From Inside to GS!! Everyone must have cancelled. Are you just calling this a private charter now? I'm pretty jealous.
-
the bus to drill to be held around the 4 o'clock hour before sailing but that was 10 years ago for those who are experienced with Royal Caribbean do they still hold the duster drill
Oh Autocorrect.... 2 tries, and it gave a different answer for Muster both times. :D

It looks like this question hasn't been asked recently and the last thing I can see is from January of this year.
My favorite place besides the Flowrider on the FOS is the Karaoke Booths across from the OnAir club. Last I read they were not working due to vandalism. Does anyone from a recent sailing know if these are back in working order. Also please don't break my heart with, "They have been permanently closed", or "These have been removed". (If that has happened I will show my displeasure by going to the pool deck early in the morning and reserving 4 chairs pool side I have no desire to sit in at all during the day.)

I'll second the Heritage Walking Tour. We really enjoyed it

The cost isn't too ridiculous. I pulled up a flight from MIA - CAP for Dec 6. It was only $211.

Cap-Haitien (CAP) is a much better choice for an airport, IF, BIG IF, they allow people to join from Labadee. That drive is an hour as compared to Port au Prince (6 hours). As others have mentioned Falmouth might be the option you have to chose. Labadee a guarded, cement walled, vacationer haven (sorry to put it so blunt)

Any of the ladies single? Late night of dinner, dancing, the Quest, then meeting that dreamy guy who is also cruising solo.....
Bingo, 1 down, 2 more to go until you get a nice Superior Balcony to yourself.

They usually do the Walk for Wishes (for the Make-a-Wish foundation). It's similar to what you are talking about.

Perfect. I'd googled and searched the boards and couldn't find them. Thanks!

My wife and I will be on the Freedom and our TA gave us $50 dining credit. We have never realized used the specialty dining before because, well, Chops didn't really seem vegetarian friendly. (Maybe they make a mean soybean/tofu steak....)
Do Giovanni's or Sabor have vegetarian options, or is there any recommendation on what we should do with our dining credit.

We just took our 4 yr old, and I was concerned also, so I came across some cardboard. We let him draw on them, and decorate them. We put the cardboard all around when he got in bed Since they were flat they didn't take up much space in the suitcase. I don't think we have a picture, but I'm looking and will update, if I can find one.
-
As mentioned through out the thread, they really open up when you are interested in them. Our last trip we had my 4 yr old and they became best friends. Our RA was always trying to get my son to save a seat at dinner or the show for her.
As for towel animals, usually in the morning we will place the towel animal in a funny situation. Reading a book, watching TV, etc. We also "feed" the towel animal money (tip), and that goes a long way also.

Thank you all. I didn't even think about that being the grats. I thought it was just a fee for booking online.
