  1. FTTF guests sit in a separate back room, and VIP/suite seating is in a roped off area in the main room next to the embarkation door.

On 4/13, boarding started just before 12:30. I didn't note the exact time, but we had our photo taken, stopped by the excursion desk, ate some stir-fry, made a couple of calls, and were dropping off our carry-on bags in the cabin by 1:15. Have a great trip!

  2. Just left the Pride today. EDIT: I'm not sure if the repairs were complete. The wake still looked funky to me, but I'm no expert. Our stop in Freeport was cancelled, so we only had two port days (Grand Turk and HMC). There was a medical emergency Wednesday evening and a woman was taken ashore by lifeboat. As a result, we were approximately 2 hours late arriving to HMC on Thursday. The Captain extended our stay in HMC, and we left port at around 6:50 PM.

We had some rough seas Saturday but still arrived back in Baltimore on time. Debarkation was running ahead of schedule with Zone 2 "relaxed" passengers off the ship and through customs by 10 AM.

Embarkation 4/13: due to the port being sanitized after the return of the Grandeur of the Seas, the terminal opened at 11 but boarding still began at around 12:30.

  3. Also bought a Citizen Eco Drive and love mine as well. The price was lower than any I could find online.

Be careful about the Invicta prices. I won the Invicta watch raffle on the Pride, and the retail value was marked somewhere in the $800 - $900 range. I found the same model for sale for under $90 online when I returned home.

  4. The statement about the Citizen watch models being manufactured for the cruise lines is false, I purchased a current model Eco Drive onboard in April for $270, and list price is $450. Some online prices for comparison: Overstock -$337, Zappos $337, Jared $337, Amazon $337.

    Model: EM0093-59A

Sophisticated modern styling is the hallmark of this new, classically inspired feminine collection with Citizen Eco-Drive technology. The sparkle of the white dial provides a pleasing contrast to the rose gold tone 35mm case. A 20-diamond bezel, spherical crystal and applied Roman numeral markers add to the unique elegance of Ciena.

I'm happy with my purchase, and I won the Invicta dive watch raffle, too. You will want to price check before buying an Invicta onboard; however. The watch I won had an MSRP of $895 but actually sells for about $75 online.
