Actually, you can make reservations at your dining room of choice on E class. We did just that on the Ascent. We like early dining, and when the dining room opened up, we were able to bypass the entire line waiting and go to our assigned table. Worked great for us. There was actually a 2 line system one for anytime, one for reservations. There was a bit of grumbling from others in line, unaware of the system.

    Cheers

so , let m get this clear because this is my first time going in the E class.

If I pick 8:30pm for dinner which is open for my sailing. Will they assign me the same table for the entire week at the time that I have selected and I dont have to wait in line?

I dont rellay lk the " my tieme system" I see that even with a reservation you have to wait.

If you don't like eating in Blu, wouldn't it be better to just book a standard veranda cabin and save a good few hundred £/$, as access to Blu is the main perk of AQ class!

    for me is the

  3. Hi 🖐️

I joined celebrity last year, we sailed from FL☀️ and went to Equinox x2 and silhouette once. I know X 👔is not royal🏄‍♂️ and I was scared since all my friends were telling me that celebrity is for seniors and thats all I was going to find.

It wasnt that bad, I saw plenty of Millennial👫🏻 and Gen Z ⛹🏻‍♂️in most activities and walking around the ship. However, a friend who went to Relection like 3 months ago noticed less young people👵🏻. Another friend went to the beyond this month and he told me is was packed🚦 with seniors. Lastly, I watched a youtube video 🎟️of a couple bbaoring the beyond last week and they uploaded almost 2 hours of video for day 1🧳, showing diferente places of the ship🚢 at different time without much editing or effect and I only saw 4 young people. 🗣️

Do you think are giving up with celebrity or do you think it is just coincidence? 💬

So you want to eat twice?

keep in mind that dinner usually takes two hours.  You expect to be hungry an hour later?

2 hrs unless you want the whole service

can be faster if you know what you want reading the menu before hand and if you only want/ appetizer, main or dessert only.

I been on her the Beyond for three cruises, two which I was in Aqua Class and both cruises I was unable to order from the MDR menus, but these cruises were over a year ago.  We were on the Equinox and able to order from all menus.  I do hope your right as the menu in Blu is not as good selection for us as the MDR is.

I have the aqua class but I did it because it was cheaper to update than getting the passes for the sauna/steamer. I dont really like blu menu and I wanted to order from the MDR that I read is not possible on the beyond.

  6. celebrity

    -better food

    -boring ships

Im coming from royal as well. Royal is a fun ship lots of entertainment targeting millennials, but 2 years ag I went to the Harmony and the food was so bad that I was like I have to try something new. I went to celebrity and I was impressed with the food and how everyone smile and greet you with a happy face. But, activities at night can be boring.

Have never had a problem upgrading after final payment as long as the upgrade is more than the room already booked, even just $1.00 more.  Have also not booked guarantees so maybe that's the difference.

I think that guarantee is the issue

I also have upgraded after final payment and never had a problem.    As of late you may loose OBC from booking aboard since the promotion is difference.

You didn't indicate if you booked directly with Celebrity or via an Agent.     I have seen on occasion that a promotional price is only available for new bookings - which could also be a factor.

    directly with celebrity

  9. Hi

I usually book ocean view guarantee or veranda guarantee.

I have a veranda now and I wanted to upgrade to Aquaclass since it is only $200 more in total and i was told that I can"t do it because my original room is a guarantee and I already did my final paymnt and sailing is in 2 months.

I am to the point to simply book last time

  10. Hi 😁

I usually book ocean view guarantee or the cheapest balcony room guarantee.

I have a veranda guatantee and I wanted to jump to AquaClass quarantee since it was only like $200 more that I have to pay, but I was told that I cant upgrade because my original room is a guarantee and I already did the final payment sailing is in 2 months.

I dont know if this is a new rule but I am at a point to simply book and ocean view and then update to an specific balcony or simply wait to the last minute to book a cruise.

  11. we didnt like it

My gf and I were super excited about it but the experience is not what we though

Idk why the room was super warm, I was sweaing the whole time

everyone need to be present for the show to start, yeah we started late

    the food is really good

you need to wait for everyone to finish eating to go to the next course

it took 2 hours or so

when we were done with the dessert, we left

    never again.

I had more fun when the restaurant was empty and I got to see like 2 mins of the video showing in the table than the real experience

We are fans of Blu but not on E class ships.  With 4 MDRs on the E class ships the menu options are greater in the MDRs than Blu.  so for us the extra cost of Aqua isn’t worth it.

I had a balcony room obstructed and going to aqua class guarantee was like 300$ per cabin and we both love the persian garden.
