According to Maitre D Ken Byrne, rollout of the American Table menu on the Pride has been pushed back to 11/22/15.

Darn! I was looking forward to the new menu...

It was still empty and showed workers in it yesterday on the ships aft web cam.

We have stayed in cabin 8271 on the Pride three times. It is right under the serenity deck and we never heard any noises.

Before i forget. We are taking a surge protector (power strip) to use in our cabin. Does the room outlet use a 3prong plug?

Has anyone ever taken the tubs of margarita mixers on a ship? Would they be allowed? I am talking about the tub with the pour spout that has the clear bag of margarita mix inside. If not, can anyone tell me a good recipe for margaritas if buy a bottle from bon voyage?

Just bring a bottle of lime juice & order a bottle of Triple Sec or Cointreau from Bon Voyage also.

Then make real margaritas: 3oz tequila, 2oz Triple Sec or Cointreau, & 1oz lime juice.

Tastes much better than any mix.

We prefer the Panorama deck and being aft. Very convenient to the lido buffet and Serenity deck.

The serenity deck is fantastic, especially if you stay on the ship while in port.

Go to the piano bar at least once.

The hot tub in the spa is free and often empty in the evenings after dinner.

Ask the Maitre d' about the free galley tour or book the paid behind the scenes tour.

It was mentioned on another thread, but I just found this on the Carnival website (after looking and looking-it was listed under "internet")

I like it that they stopped that service. It was too easy for someone to call you in your room.
