There is a pool bar on deck 9 but not a sky bar on deck 10
Thank you!

The Viking Crown is a nice place for sailaway but I'm partial to being outdoors. The RCI webpage doesn't show most bars other than the Schooner. I wasn't sure if they featured a Skybar on the Rhapsody or not.

Does the Rhapsody of the Seas have a Sky Bar?
The only other Vision class ship we have sailed is the Enchantment which was stretched several years ago. It does not have a Sky Bar.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

We are Fort Lauderdale locals and always park at the port (http://www.portverglades.net) for $15/day for garage parking (if you are leaving on one of Royal Caribbean's mega ships the parking is in a lot not a garage). We find it safe and convenient. We are off the ship and on our way home in moments.
Thanks. We just moved to FL but live on the Gulf coast. It's a different experience driving to the terminal.

Wondering how much is costs per day to park at Port Everglades? Also any thoughts about the convenience and safety. Thanks in advance.

I'll add that I wish RCI would resume bus service from various points in Florida. They had it several years ago but it has quietly disappeared.

We always have parked at the port. Currently it is $20.00 per day. We looked into parking off site once and yes, it is less expensive, but you could end up waiting forever for their shuttles to pick you up. We felt the savings not worth the hassles.
That's what I was wondering - $20 day. I suppose the convenience and safety is worth it. I travel to relax - not get stressed out.

I recommend parking at the port. While not cheap it is easy and safe .... use the tunnel to enter the port
Thanks for posting this. I don't mind paying a few extra bucks to keep our car secure.

I'm cruising from the Port of Miami this weekend and this will be our first time driving to the port. Can anyone provide parking info (I.e facilities, costs, safety)? If parking isn't available near the port which would be good off site alternatives?
Sorry if this is the wrong thread to post this. Wasn't sure where to ask the question.

We are HUGE fans of the Serenade, our favorite RCI ship by far. Of course everything is personal preference but if you like the smaller, more elegant ships and can do without a Flowrider than the Radiance class might be for you.
I have to also give a shout out to the best concierge in the entire RCI fleet, Mario Reyes on the Serenade. It's worth booking a suite just to hang out with him in he CL.

Uber does include the gratuity in your fare.

So, is the cabana price in the excursion per person or per cabana and up to 6 people can use it?
Per cabana (up to 6 people may share it)

Do you reserve chops online or on-board in order to get the 20%? Thx
My experience is if you reserve a specialty restaurant in advance they will charge you immediately (hence no discount). I am not sure if there is a mechanism to credit you back the 20%.

Welcome!! We will leave the light on for you! :)
Very much looking forward to it full time. Right now I split my time between FL & the Midwest. My wife will join me down south permanently around Christmastime.

If I can determine the #'s while on board I'll post the information. We'll be on the 7/8 sailing.

It's all those darn high level Florida folks:eek:
A definite advantage of living in FL! That's why we are moving there this year. Now we can drive to 3 different ports.

There were many on ours also.
One thing I love about the location of the DL and the CL, is that they are right
across from each other. If one is too busy, you can easily transfer to the other one.
Then if all fails, the VCL is just below and drink vouchers can be used there. :)
I LOVE Enchantment and miss her dearly up here in PC. :(
I also prefer evening cocktails in the CL rather than the voucher (or sea pass) system. Always nice to meet others who love to cruise.

There were 12 Pinnacles on my last Enchantment cruise.
Interesting! I wouldn't have guessed such a high number on a 3 night cruise.

The ship and the cruise length have nothing to do with this perk.
Except for Majesty, and now Empress, all ships have a Diamond Lounge.
And ALL ships give D, D+ & PC three daily drink vouchers on their Seapass.
My reference to the length of the cruise only pertains to the number of D, D+ or Pinnacle cruises I presume to be on board. I would guess less high tier C&A cruisers take 3 day Bahamas cruises.

Both, enjoy
Thank you!

We are D+ members and are taking a 3 night weekend cruise on the Enchantment out of Miami in a couple of weeks. My question is will they serve evening cocktails in the Concierge Lounge or will we get a few complimentary cocktails free in the evening on our sea passes?
It's been a long time since we've done a 3 night cruise and I'm not sure what the practice is on the Enchantment. Thanks in advance for your replies!

I agree with previous posters on this topic. Will add that the ships stores don't open until sailing so you many not be able to stock up until after sailaway

Done the Intercontinental several times. Never been disappointed.

We've done every class of RCI ship (our favorite line) and we've also done a couple of Celebrity cruises, the last of which was in December on the Constellation.
Our favorite RCI ships are the Radiance Class. We love the glass and elegance of that particular class. It's one of the reasons we selected the Constellation for our cruise in December. Both classes of ships are in the 90,000 ton range.
At the end of the day, we still preferred RCI. I suppose some of it had to do with the younger demographic but we also prefer the layout of RCI ships compared to similar Celebrity ships. We also found the food & service on RCI to be superior to Celebrity (although this can probably be attributed to the staff assigned to our suite).
Of course everyone's preferences are different. We'll stick with RCI.
Beach Bungalow at Cococay
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
$225 for your group. It includes an upgraded lunch, bottled waters, use of mats & snorkel gear.
For what it is worth we've had cabanas on both Coco Cay and Labadee. We didn't care for the arrangement on Coco Cay. No private beach, no cabana attendant , no ceiling fan in the cabana all of which we had on Labadee.
