  1. Let us be the judge of your "attractive legs." You could be seriously biased!
  2. Try Seabourn, Viking. You lost this battle many years ago with Royal when suites were introduced and younger cruises decided it is their vacation and they will wear what the want when they want. Royal had no choice but to stop enforcement of mdr dress codes.
  3. Maybe there is hope! But I care not about ice cream but rather the obvious cut backs in Windjammer entree options we experienced in Jan. 🤔
  4. You are confusing posts and posters, Mum. I never talked about smelly jeans. However ball caps are prolific on some cruises.
  5. Of course it depends on the ship and the age/mix of the passengers.
  6. Based on past threads re: jeans in mdr, I would say no holes, no pleats, black or dark in color. Crotch to hem should be no less than 9.5 inches.
  7. 9 booked and 49 past. Jan B3B was a breaking point with new menus and Windjammer cut backs. Caused us to try different cruise lines for the first time in many years. I was never a cheerleader for Royal but just stating facts. The % is a fair estimate. Your mileage may very. As for cruising with me, I can put you on the waitlist. 😏
  8. I never doubted you. In fact I said there is hope for our Harmony B3B. All of these posts add up to: "Your experience might vary by ship and staff." That is no reason to label those who post unacceptable experiences as "complainers."
  9. We experienced the new menus first hand on Explorer b3b. Might have been tolerable had Windjammer not also have been severly downgraded at the same time. We aren't picky but the tastless, mismash of dinner options were sad. I prefer to give honest assessments rather than just post glowing reports BECAUSE one believes others are just complainers. (Nearly 50 cruises on Royal, so I know when food offerings are worse than last year.)
  10. Pretty clear I thought. You are definitely in the minority of reported experiences.
  11. Just wait until you are on the ship. Your waiter will be glad to show you all the menus.
  12. On which ship did you have this unusual experience and when please?
  13. Shakespeare said that? I thought my massage therapist coined the phrase.
  14. No confidence here! They are saving huge amounts of money while cruise prices are up. Compliants are met with "the rules come from Miami." That translates to "we no longer have any control... but are just instructed to follow the new rules." Have you been to the Windjammer? It is sad! Until they see no more full ships, the new menus will stay.
