  1. I had high hopes, I remembered how quick the line moved on MG, but not here. Oh well! That was yesterday. Today is probably a Big Chicken and salad day. They’re really overrated, I think my hubby cooks better ones, but it was this intense craving that hit. Yes, love me some Blue Iguana!!!
  2. So, I left off at lunchtime, with my burger craving. It took 22 minutes to get thru the Guy’s line, I don’t know why so long. The place was hopping tho, I think EVERYONE wanted a burger! I took it and went to see Nichola at the Red Frog Tiki on deck 17 for a Caribbean colada. Ahhhh, it was good! Lido was pretty busy at this time. I ate and drank, then went back to Loft 19 until 3. I decided at this point I needed to go back to the cabin, take a shower, and chill for a few before we met up with our friends for dinner. And boy did I chill…I took an hour long nap, and woke myself up snoring! At 6 we met up with our friends at Alchemy, and we hung there until a table was ready for us at Chibang at 7:15. I got the steak tacos as my app, and boy were they yummy! The kung pao chicken main dish was delicious, I I didn’t find it spicy but a table mate did. My side of yucca was ok, and the chocolate c bang dessert was good. Overall, dinner was a great success! We wanted to see the circus show in the atrium but even tho it was 45 minutes before showtime, it was PACKED. So instead we went to Golden Jubilee to hear Travis the guitar guy do a Johnny Cash tribute. He did really, really good! I got a Grasshopper and a Junebug drink while there, and the Junebug was awesome. Our final stop tonight was the “after hours” Family Feud at 11:30 in the theater. Doors opened at 11, and I’m glad we got there right at 11, it filled up quick! For being billed as a “spicier” show, it really wasn’t. A few bad words were said, and a few spicier potential answers, but the questions and real answers were not bad. It was a great laugh tho, and kept us up until 12:15! Now, time for bed. Tomorrow (well, actually, TODAY!) is San Juan.
  3. Alright, sorry for my extended silence today, I finally gave up and tried downloading Google Chrome to see if it helped me get into Cruise Critic on my phone. And here I am! Appears that Safari isn’t a CC fan? Anyway, I’m trying to type up my notes before I fall asleep to do todays post, but it’s nearly 1 am…the next update may come tomorrow.
  4. Yes they are!! Took 22 minutes. The burger was good, but not worth the wait. MG was fast! Today, Celebration wasn’t so fast. Oh well. I’m still on vacation! There’s a few adjustments, and I like the ship, but I honestly think I might like MG just a tad more.
  5. Darn it, I want a burger. Like…I’m salivating at the thought of one. The line is long tho. Got in a 1:40, let’s see how quick it moves.
  6. I lied, I moved. Went to Loft 19 about 1. Danggit I paid for access to this area with my cabin fare, I need to use it! Found a shaded lounger by the spa. Then bar service came around! I like this! And a lady with chilled towels! Do you know how good a Funship tastes while sitting in a “warm tub” with a chilled towel on your neck? This is the life. Cabanas are not filled up, but I think that’s because it’s a port day. Now, I need some lunch.
  7. Ahhh, Serenity is so serene! I love it. Snagged a clamshell & steps from the bar, 10 from the pool. I’m not moving. 😂 Although the Loft 19 “fishbowl” is looking inviting.
  8. Oh man, I would love to try that drink! The room service menu specifies they come with curly fries, it made me happy! They’re my favorite!
  9. Cheese pizza, mmmmm. And, if you want beer to go with it, you can get that.
  10. The room service did charge our account, so we made a trip to Guest Services to get that taken care of. Supposedly by the end of the day it’ll be reversed. We are in Amber Cove today, from 8 to 4. We are getting pizza for breakfast (we got cravings!) and then I plan to relax on Loft 19 and Serenity. flipping the rocking chairs over on the balcony last night remedied the banging issue!
  11. Had trouble with the site last night, sorry for the lack of update! So last night…after dinner, which ended about 745, we hung out at alchemy. Dusan and Nichola ROCK. Dusan made an almond joy drink that rocked, then Nichola made me an absinthe drink that put me to bed. We did order room service (supposedly included in our room, but I’m showing a change for it?) to try and sober up. We got firecracker shrimp (Basically fried shrimp with sweet baby rays sweet & spicy chili sauce), a Philly cheesesteak (which was good) and wings (ok, but Chris was DRUNK and I don’t eat wings so I can’t judge!)… we shall see how that settles to the onboard account.
  12. Nichola’s creations…a creamy coconut something and an absinthe something.
  13. Ok y’all…ignore the cruddy notes tonight…Nichola has got me MESSED UP! Rudi’s…we had a 5:30 reservation. We elected to dine outside. It was awesome! Not too hot, not too chilly, not too windy…just perfect! Tonight was a Free wine, promo, red or white. I elected for white, it was good. Shrimp thing to start, it was yummy! I got the Shrimp app, after asking if the shrimp or the scallops were better. I ended up with both!! The shrimp wind. Slightly spicy, just a really, really good flavor. Scallops are good, just not as flavorful. Light a mashed potato with cheese almost. I got the romaine salad, which was good, then the crabcake main, which was good. I got the chocatre truffle cake as dessert; it was Devine! Chris got calamari as a starter, very good! Tender, not chewy. Chris’s steak cooked perfect.
  14. I will try and check Latitudes and Golden Jubilee out tomorrow and note if she’s there! I think so! He said he was on Sunshine!! We like those months too. I’m making the best tho..I’m on a cruise!!!
  15. Uh oh, I smell Absinthe…Nichola has pulled out my weakness! If I’m silent later…you know why!!
  16. Last post before dinner…Dusan and Jason at Alchemy are awesome! Not quite Zoltan and Jacob (will anyone ever beat Zoltan’s creamy coconut Martini?) but their humor is great. Now…on to Rudi’s!
  17. They have an inside. We did a crawl between our room, theirs, and their friend Wendy’s balcony room.
  18. Dusan whipped up this “something almond joy flavored” for me. Holy moly, it’s frigging amazing!
  19. So, after the morning show Chris headed back to the cabin to do school work. Sorry buddy, Ima go have fun! I changed into swim wear and headed up to Loft 19 to check out the situation up there. Lots and lots of loungers were available, and the “spa” thingy only had 3 people in it, but holy freaking moly…the WIND! It was nuts! I threw my stuff into a free lounger and climbed into the spa (oh, it is nice! Cooler than a hot tub, warmer than a pool, with these deep seats that you can lounge in!) but I didn’t stay long. That wind was cray cray. I went down to Serenity to check it out, but after ordering a Skinny Fizz I came to the same conclusion: too dang windy. I from there decided to check out deck 8 aft, aka Summer Landing. I found a chair in the shade to throw my belongings while I cooled off in the pool. I can’t stand kids, and yes there were lots back there, but I figured after a few Planters Punches (yummy!) and Thirsty Frog Berry Hibiscus seltzers, I could manage. The best part was my seltzers were given to me unopened, so I took a few back to the room to store in the mini fridge for a late night treat. After changing up (steward left me Ruffy in my cabin today!) I got a mojito with berries from the Alchemy before heading to the Family Feud auditions. Vlad made the drink, it was delicious! Almost like a lemonade. The show was hilarious. We headed back to Alchemy after, Dusan is making me something, I dunno what yet. 😂
