Ours used to sleep in the pushchair in the evenings on holiday. Its only a couple of days, when they are out of their routine anyway. If you have other babies, you could be putting off your holidays for a while!
I'd go!

Hubby and I were discussing this very thing last night, but poo poo'd it because of there being a thousand toddlers around. I hadn't thought about kids clubs keeping them entertained!
(its not that I don't like children, its just mine are finally getting to the point where they are off my hands, and I appreciate the peaceful moments.)
I think it might be back on the agenda!

How exciting, one cruise and we were hooked! About to take my 3rd on Friday!

Separated by a common language! I got as far as 3 pairs of pants for a 11 day trip and though Urrrgh. Then realized. You were referring to trousers! We are taking an 11 day cruise in November.....I packed one pair of sneakers, sock to fill shoes, 3 pair of pants......

Sequence Dancing! OMG... Will I be stepping back into the 1950's ! I didn't know people still did it. My nan used to do sequence dancing and she has been gone 20 years!

I have a free bolt on called Travel. Have not used it yet, but understand that it means you can use data for an initial connection charge per day.

Hubby and I enjoy a bit of modern Jive and Modern Blues dancing. Where is the best place to find contemporary music in the evenings on the Ventura? Its a big ship and we only have two nights!
-
I dance modern jive and spend evenings dancing with multiple partners. I wonder how I survive.... Oh yes, I wash my hands regularly.
Fist bumping - How rude!

Why was your St Peter's Port cancelled? We are doing a 2 nighter to St Peters Port at the end of August. Its the only port! We're just off Ventura and the first formal night was scheduled for day three. This remained the case even after cancellation of the St Peter Port call led to day 2 becoming an additional sea day. -
I didn't take teabags. I wish I had. Will be next time!

Just out of interest... Should On Board Credit show up somewhere in your cruise personaliser? I was given some with my booking but can see it mentioned anywhere.

I'm a pack for a week into a carry on type of gal. So I take a 4 wheeled small suitecase with a Vanity sized bag that fits over the handle. Plus my tiny handbag. Which has passports, purse etc in it.

When on Cruise Critic before our first cruise, I read all about door signs, got very excited and made and laminated some for our door.
No other door had them on and so they got taken down very quickly. I wonder if it was because it was a European Cruise.

We stayed in one a bit further along the corridor that overlooked the promanade. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a similar size to the balcony stateroom we had had before.
A friend of my daughter had one of the rooms with the virtual balcony and were very impressed. Said they found it lulled them to sleep each evening!

Are you going on Eurostar? I would advise you go from Ebbsfleet rather than Ashford and Operation Stack has been a complete pain for several weeks. It bungs up all the roads between Maidstone and Ashford. If you are planning on driving I think you may be taking a chance as the tunnel has been shut several times of late and getting to Dover has been almost impossible due to the aforementioned Operation Stack.
I went there as part of a weekend RCI tour in May and had a lovely day. Everying was open. Had the most amazing Chocolate covered waffle! We had around 4 hours there and could have spent a bit longer. Its a lovely town. I would like to go again.

Took me half a thread to realize this was a typo and not an Amercanism! I was trying to work out what a sheep and light blanket could be!I too find the duvet waaayyyy to heavy, even with the ac turned down. I always ask the steward to replace it with a sheep and light blanket. Never a problem.

As a Brit coming to the US I need an ESTA which is easily arranged on the internet and a passport that has six months validity from the return date. Also some insurance in case we get sick (your health services are horrendously expensive!)
As a Brit booking onto a Royal Caribbean cruise I need a valid passport. The vaccinations suggested are dependent on where I will be visiting. Cruising in Europe I don't specifically need (although I choose to get) health insurance as we are covered by the ESTA scheme which allows emergency care.

We did a walking tour (booked through the ship) when we were there that included a boat trip on the canals. It was a lovely day.

Room service for breakfast is the answer! Or the main dining room which is far more civilized. Mind you I am yet to experience a P&O buffet. I assume it will be run on a similar basis to the RCI ones.

In a nutshell..... My Time dining involves pre paying gratuities and for that you get to choose when you eat, you can book each day for later that evening or just pitch up and wait.
Main dining has two sittings early and late (Can't remember the times off hand) Both either of these options can be set up as you book. The earlier seating time generally is more popular and may have a waiting list.

We have only ever printed them, folded them as per the instructions and selotaped them on. Never had a problem.

My Daughter (age 15) wears 12-13 clothes or can get away with a size 6 Adult. We have found our best bet to be either Matalan's teenager range or New Looks 9-15 range.
DD wore a skater style dress for the formal night on our cruise in a lacy material. She looked lovely!

Aw if only I'd known!

Blimey, only 2 weeks Paid Annual leave! I'm quite shocked by that! I get 7 as a health professional in the UK. Our sick leave is paid for the first 6 months too.
I need help planning my time in London! Please !

If you are near London Bridge with some time to spear, the Imperial War Museum is close by. Its free, an worth a look around.
Depending what interests you, the National Portrait Gallery is near Charing X station and is fascinating. Science Museum and Victoria and Albert Museums are good and all free too.
Then of course, there is Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace. (keep out the way of the Guards if you see them coming! They have right of way)
There is a very good website called walkit.com. Worth looking at to plan routes.
