No prizes on Apex or Summit, so imagine it fleet wide.
A cost cutting measure probably, we play and just enjoy the fun.

Just back from a cruise in Summit! Enjoyed everything about the ship. However, please be considerate of your neighboring cabins. Our neighbors keep their TV at a loud volume until 2:00 AM, after the 2nd night of this, I knocked on their door at 1:30 AM and asked if they could turn the volume down. They did, but even with it lowered, they had it on every night until very late hours and we could hear it, even with ear plugs in, and it made it difficult to sleep.

Can you tell me what Persian Garden is? On Summit 6/18. Enjoy your cruise!

Just got an email notifying me of my 125% Future Cruise Credit for a 5/7 cancelled cruise. The amounts were correct.
However, will I be refunded the Vacation Protection Plan money, and the taxes, fees and port expenses on to my credit card?
Thank you.

We're back from our cruise. The Holland excursion Beach Express did go to Blue Bay. Nice snorkeling, clean beach and bathrooms. On the way the guide Emmy gave us history of the island and we even got to see the flamingos.
Would go on this excursion again.

Does anyone know which of Holland's shore excursions goes to Blue Bay Beach? It has been mentioned that there is an excursion there, but no mention of the name.
Thank you.

Does the Eurodam have a small library onboard?
-
Read that the water is calm and snorkeling is good at Blue Bay beach.
How do we get there? By taxi? What would the cost be so I'm prepared in US dollars? How much to use the beach, don't need chairs? Thank you.

We ended up walking to Smith's Cove. It took us, at a leisurely pace (we're 70 and 72) about 30 minutes.
Lovely walk past homes with beautiful gardens.

On a recent cruise 5/25/19 we enjoyed Smith's Cove. There is a small beach, decent snorkeling in calm waters, shade, picnic tables, clean public bathrooms and showers. There were no place there to purchase any food, umbrellas, chairs, or snorkel equipment. We walked (ages 70 and 72) from the pier, it took about 30 minutes, but I'm sure you could catch a cab to there, but not sure how you'd get one back as none passed us on our walk back.

We were on Caribbean Princess from 5/25-6/8. They AC in our room Plaza 307 worked great and we did not notice any AC problems anywhere else on the ship. We had anytime dining, ate at 5:30 every evening, and was seated right we when we entered. We even were able to request and get the table we liked 9 of the 14 nights as we enjoyed the waiter, Victoria so much.

Just back from our first Princess cruise (14 day Caribbean Princess), but we have sailed on 46 other cruises.
We found the food in all areas (did not eat in pay venues) to be of a much better quality and variety than Royal Caribbean, and on par with Celebrity and Holland. Our only complaint was that the coffee was consistently too weak, and their soft serve ice cream had a strange consistency and taste. The entertainment was superior. The same shows were presented on both (7 day Western, then 7 day Eastern), but they were so good we relished seeing them again. We would definitely sail Princess again!

How can you find out which pier Caribbean Princess will be docking at on 6/1?
-
What pier is CP going out of? We're on 5/25 - 6/8 for 14 days and hoping when they return to FL on 6/1 we can walk over to get the water taxi on 17th St. if they're at Pier 2.

Does the Caribbean Princess have a small library or some shelves tucked away with books?
-
We like to walk! Anyone know how far it is to the Money Bar, where we hope to eat and snorkel, from where Caribbean Princess will dock?
Thank you.

On a previous thread it was mentioned that there is a public bus for $2.50 a person.
Does anyone know if this bus goes down the road to stop at Smith's Cove? Thank you.
-
Looking forward to our 1st Princess cruise (have cruised on other lines) on CP on 5/25.
When we board can we go to the MDR and reserve a 5:30 time in the Anytime section for the 1st evening?
Then do we reserve for that time at the MDR desk each night for the next night? This is how it works on RC.
What is Princess' procedure for making a reservation? Thank you.
-
We like to walk when it's possible. Has anyone walked from where the Caribbean Princess docks in Fort Lauderdale
to pick up the water taxi on 17th Street? Distance? Thank you.
-
Take a cab. It's cheaper than the RC bus and you don't have to wait for the bus to fill up for them to take off to the airport.
A cab ride with a $5.00 tip is about $20-$22.00.

We are an older couple who do not have devices that use apps. We have a BB cruise May 25 on Caribbean Princess.
Will we still receive the medallion in the mail? Do I have to do anything on my reservation about this? Thank you.

Cruising first time on Princess on the Caribbean Princess in May. Do all rooms (we're in Oceanview) get robes or only certain rooms or certain high levels with Princess?
-
Have been on 45 cruises on other lines, but going on Princess for the first time in late May, Caribbean Princess.
Wondering if anyone who has been in a Royal Caribbean Oceanview cabin can compare it to a Caribbean Princess
oceanview cabin Plaza deck, or if anyone has pictures of the inside of an oceanview cabin on this deck on the CB.

At 45 days out you can book a check in time starting at 12:00 AM. Check in usually starting at 10:00, but usually you do not get on to the ship until 11:00 or later. They sit you in lined up chairs. Once onboard you can drop off carry ons in your room, but can't stay in room until after 1:00.
