From the Ft Lauerdale cruise terminal (on CP) what is the closest spot to pick up the water taxi?

Does anyone know if Caribbean Princess docks at Crown Bay or Havensight in St Thomas?  Thank you.

On a 14 day cruise out of Ft Lauderdale that goes out for 7 days then back to Ft L then out again for 7 days to different ports,

do you have to get off the ship and reboard at Ft L?

I often get a senior or military  discount. Would that mean I couldn't get the $100. benefit also?

Can anyone share the benefits of being a shareholder in RC? 

Was told you get an onboard credit of $100.00 every time you cruise with RC or Celebrity.

We like a table for two as we eat early and like to go to the first show of the evening.

If you sit with others the meal tends to take longer than if it is just the two of us.

When we have breakfast or lunch in the dining room we always ask to share with others for conversations.

I am sensitive to the needs of those adjoining our table. If I initiate a conversation and notice that I get only a brief reply with no further conversation, I get the message, and do not engage again except for a brief good evening. However, more often than not, we have not found this to be the case.

Can someone remind me how to contact Dining via email to make a request for a table.

We have a table for 2 but also like it to be adjacent to other tables for 2 to facilitate conversation.

Usually drop off suitcases with porters at the ship.  This time we're taking carry on luggage only. Can you take them onboard yourself?

Is there any place within walking distance that you can snorkel from the beach? We have our own gear. Thanks.

Have never sailed Princess. We tender in Grand Cayman. How do they handle tendering? Give out tickets or just line up for tenders?

How far is it from Havensight pier to Emerald beach?  What is the cost for a cab?

We also walked to Lindbergh Bay Beach/Emerald Beach Resort. It was a safe walk, mostly on sidewalks and took about 25 minutes at a leisurely pace.( two 70 year olds) There was some shade available and there was a beach bar at the resort with shaded tables and a bathroom. Take beach shoes as it was rocky getting in. The snorkeling was good without having to go too far out.

Fort Lauderdale because it is a quick, inexpensive ($20. including tip) cab ride from the FLL airport to the ship.

Also, I can do an early self disembarkation to get an early flight out of FLL.

Has anyone snorkeled at Half Moon Cay? If so, where on the island?

Want to know if it's worth my bringing my snorkel gear along on a upcoming cruise. Thanks.

Does Holland dock at Crown Bay or Havensight in St Thomas?

Traveling on the Nieuw Amsterdam in December. We have an early flight 11:00 out of FLL.

Royal C lets you self disembark, does Holland have the same policy? Anyone used this and know the times they're off the ship? That way we can make our flight. Thank you.

Sailed to Bermuda on the Celebrity Horizon out of Philadelphia in 2005 docking in St Georges. Remember it well because a hurricane was coming straight toward Bermuda. The captain took us down the coast, then out. The storm veered and did not hit. We got there a few hours late but had beautiful weather the whole time there.

Anyone who has snorkeled recently at Cococay, do they require you to wear a vest?

I have my own gear, but need to know if I'll need to rent a vest or if it is provided.

I've read on these boards that the snorkeling is good off the beach.

I've enjoyed following your review. I've been on Grandeur 10 times. Most recently in Jan.,2018.

To griffy 116 - what was the name of the great catamaran snorkeling shore excursion that you raved about in this thread? Heading to Roatan in Dec. on Allure.

I was on Grandeur recently, and the staff running the trivia game asked "those cruisers" if the 2nd place team could be the winners. I thought that was a nice way to handle this problem which I too have seen too often. I like to play just to see what I know. I can't imagine being competitive about the prizes RC gives out (key chains and highlighters).
